“I saw some things on your website. It says you have them in stock.”
“Sure. Do you have pictures or the serial numbers?”
I nod, take out my phone, and show her the pictures of what I’m looking for exactly.
“Oooh, you’re into the intense stuff,” she says, and right away covers her mouth. “Sorry. None of my business. It’s just that that one is a bit…not beginner friendly.”
“That’s okay.” I smirk, gaining confidence in my choice. “My girl can take it.”
“Oh.” The blonde goes quiet, our eyes lock, and she’s the one who’s suddenly shy. “That other one you showed me is a bit milder, but still quite intense…”
“Sounds perfect.”
“Okay. L-let me—” She pauses. The effect I’m having on her is clear from the sudden shift in our conversation. “Get that for you.”
I look like a shy, innocent guy, first time in a store, looking for a present for his girl. Which, of course, is kind of what I am. But I bet she thought I was way more vanilla than that. Now, she’s imagining me pulling her aside and forcing her down on her knees to suck my cock. Her flustered expression says it all.
Sadly for her, there’s no chance in hell I’d do that. I’m past my fuck-boy era. Past the times when I looked for any warm hole to fill my needs.
My girl has me covered for this life. Even if she doesn’t know it yet.
“This way, please.”
I follow with a smile, finally feeling like I’ve got this in my pocket.
Madelyn has no idea what’s coming for her. The game we’re about to play.
I can’t wait to see her face.

MADELYN
There’s a box on my desk, black and around the size of a book, with a thin pink ribbon decorating it.
When did this get here?
My desk is such a mess, packed with books and papers, that it’s possible it’s been here all along, and I haven’t seen it. I shake my head. No. I don’t think it was here.
Then how?
The only times I left my desk unattended were during lunch, and a few bathroom breaks.
Did a student leave it for me?
A smile coats my lips. Someone likes me enough to give me a gift.
They think I’m a good teacher. Finally, my hard work pays off.
Picking up the box, I inspect it. A Post-It note with my name in red is stuck to its side.
The handwriting is clean, but it doesn’t tell me much. It could have been anyone.
The red ink sends shivers down my spine. I don’t know why. It’s a gut feeling.
Undoing the ribbon first, I take off the lid. Inside, white paper wraps whatever the gift is, and a note is folded into a really small square.
I unfold it and read it first.
