“Regardez moi,” he said, commanding her attention. “Look at me, ma petite. That’s it. I’m going to make it better, I’ll make it so good. Yes, mon ange, relax now. Just let it happen.”
She stilled, staring at him, such trust in her green eyes, green as spring and everything fresh when the world was new again. She made him feel renewed, as if anything were possible, and so he gave instead of taking, watching as he caressed her, circling the swollen little bud between her thighs until she arched off the bed, trembling and shaking as the climax shattered her. Louis gasped, seeking her mouth, taking her cries inside of him as if he could share in her pleasure as she clutched at him, pulling him closer, wanting more, always more. As with every other revelation this evening, she stunned him anew, as one orgasm merged into another, her pleasure so intense it rolled on and on, with such force he almost spent himself, imagining how it might feel to be inside her now as her body convulsed frantically around his fingers.
When finally she subsided, dazed and flushed, her body limp and sated, she cuddled against him, wrapping her arms about him.
Louis pressed kisses to her forehead, her cheek, until her eyes opened, and she blinked up at him, as if emerging from the dark into light.
“Oh, Louis,” she whispered sleepily. “You are dreadfully wicked.”
“And you love me,” he reminded her.
“Mmmm,” she said with a heavy sigh. “I do.”
“I shall come to you again, little love, and we will talk, and I will love you some more,” he promised her, kissing her mouth, not wanting to stop touching her.
“I want you to, Louis, but it’s too dangerous,” she protested, looking at him with concern. “You’ll get caught.”
He shook his head and smiled. “Non. I won’t, and next time—” He leaned close to her ear, murmuring as he crooked his fingers inside her and she shuddered all over again. “Next time I shall use my mouth, and pleasure you with my tongue, but you will need to take care not to scream.”
Her cheeks flamed scarlet, and she gasped, squirming with excitement and shock. “Oh. Oh, y-yes, please,” she whispered as her intimate muscles clenched around his fingers at his words. She would dream of him doing that to her until he made it a reality. She gave him a guarded look, curiosity glinting in her eyes. “But do you really want to?”
Instead of answering, he put the fingers that had been inside her in his mouth and sucked, giving a low moan of pleasure as the taste of her exploded on his tongue.
“You do want to,” she said with a pleased smile.
Louis chuckled. “You doubted it?”
“Not anymore, but I wish you would do it now. I still ache for you,” she admitted, touching a finger to his mouth. She stared at him, breathing hard, so obviously aroused that Louis’ breath caught. He did not think it possible to love her more, but to find a woman like her, so innocent, so sweet and kind and loving, and whose passion matched his own was more than he had dreamed possible.
“Mon Dieu,” he said on a huff of shocked laughter, wanting nothing more but to indulge her every desire, but then they really would risk getting caught. “I wish the same, so badly it hurts, but I cannot. I must leave you now but know this, I cannot wait to make you my wife, mon amour. When you are entirely mine, we will break furniture, make the devil blush and burn brighter than the sun.”
Evie gave a shaky laugh, and he could do nothing but smile.
He lent down to nip at her ear, whispering to her. “Until then, you must take care of your own needs. Think of me when you touch yourself, mon amour. Think of my mouth on you, my tongue inside you, pleasuring you, and touch yourself until you come. I will check if you have obeyed me next time I see you,” he warned her, enjoying the scandalised look in her eyes, and knowing the idea excited her. “Don’t disobey, ma petite, or I might be forced to punish you.”
Her breathing hitched, her green eyes dark with desire.
“I must go,” he said, regretting the words when he wanted so much to stay with her. “I will return to you as soon as I can. Keep putting the candle in the window once you are alone, yes?”
She nodded, holding his gaze.
“Je t’aime, amour de ma vie,” he said, hoping she heard the truth of his words.
Louis bent and kissed her, swift and hard, and climbed off the bed before he could think twice about it. The skies were growing lighter, and the servants would be about their day soon. He must leave now. Cursing, he rearranged his aching cock and tucked his shirt in, watching her all the while.
“Beaux rêves, mon amour,” he said softly, shaking his head and chuckling as she gave him a sleepy, quizzical smile. “We must improve your French, ma petite. I said, sweet dreams, my love.”
She sighed, and he bent to steal one last kiss before leaving her to dream of him, and all they had not yet done.
