Gabriel nodded. Why did that make Bobby want to strut around the flat and beat his chest?

“You look pleased with yourself.”

“Well, I’ve never cum from a blow job before, so you can be pleased with yourself as well.”

Gabriel smiled. “Are you sure you’re okay? I’d understand if you need to be by yourself for a bit.”

“Can I stay with you? I don’t mean to do anything else – well, not tonight. I just like to cuddle.”

Bobby couldn’t help but look down, feeling needy. Wasn’t he supposed to be the alpha here? Or however it was referred to. Gabriel had said he liked men to take control in bed, but he’d been the one calling the shots tonight.

“I love cuddles as well. Come on, let’s go to bed.”

Gabriel took hold of Bobby’s hand and pulled him towards the bedroom. He wasn’t sure what tomorrow would look like, but he’d crossed a line tonight, and he regretted nothing.

CHAPTER 18

GABRIEL

Gabriel wasn’t surprised to wake up and find Bobby gone, but that didn’t stop it hurting. Had he made a mistake last night by pushing Bobby to see how far he’d go? The thing was, he had no regrets about what they’d done. When Bobby had fucked his throat, Gabriel knew he was holding back his full strength. He was a kind and caring man, and would do nothing to hurt anyone, but he had it in him to take complete control and fuck Gabriel until he couldn’t walk. That was if he hadn’t totally freaked out and would be sending his brothers to get his stuff. If that happened, Gabriel might never see him again.

When he’d left with Sergio, he’d seen Bobby run out after them as they were driving away, and that had been enough for Gabriel to know he had a chance, and he was going to take it. He’d had one drink with Sergio to psych himself up and then headed home. Gabriel felt as though Sergio could become a good friend. They were going to grab a coffee during the week, as he needed support for a Pride Month event. He also suspected Sergio would want the gossip on whether anything had happened with Bobby. Getting home, he was surprised to find Bobby wasn’t there, and hoped he hadn’t pushed things so far that he’d gone out and found some casual fuck for the night. Thankfully, he hadn’t, and what had happened had beaten any of the fantasies Gabriel had had over the last two years. His cock was literal perfection. Not too long that he couldn’t get it all down his throat, but that girth would stretch his hole perfectly when Bobby was ready for that. If he ever was.

Ugh, now wasn’t the time for self-doubt. He got out of bed and went to the bathroom to have a piss and brush his teeth. He needed a coffee before he took a shower. In the kitchen he found a note from Bobby, and it made his heart flutter.

Gone to the gym and to do a few bits. You were so peaceful, I didn’t want to wake you. Make sure you’re dressed and ready to go by twelve. I’m taking you on our first date. B xx

Gabriel practically swooned. He looked at the clock on the wall. It was just after nine o’clock. He never slept in this late, so he must have needed it, or it was from being cuddled by a big, muscular guy all night. Bobby hadn’t been underselling his “like to cuddle” line. The man was like an octopus, in the best possible way. It was something Gabriel could get used to, but he was getting carried away.

Once the coffee was on, he went back to his bedroom and picked up his phone. He loved that Bobby left notes instead of sending texts. He had messages, though, in the group chat with Jason and Dexter. “I heard your husband crashed your date,” as a preview of the message was enough for Gabriel not to look at them until later. He needed to get showered and then decide what he was going to wear later for his date with Bobby.

Gabriel had just had some toast for breakfast, as he assumed lunch would be involved with whatever Bobby had planned. The man liked to eat. Even after what had happened yesterday, Bobby had left protein powder on the side and his shaker in the sink, which was progress from it all being left on the side. Rather than being irritated, Gabriel had laughed and cleaned it up. This was him trying to make an effort, so who knew what mess he could make if Gabriel said it didn’t really bother him, even if he did moan occasionally.

The door buzzer startled him. He wondered if it could be Bobby and he’d forgotten his key. His note implied he wasn’t due back for another couple of hours.

“Hello,” he said into the intercom.

“It’s Alex.”

What the fuck was she doing here? He buzzed her in and then paced around, panicking about why she would be here. Did she know something had happened with Bobby? Maybe talking to his sister was one of the “few bits” he had to do. Gabriel hated not talking to his family, but he got his stubbornness from both his parents. He had done nothing wrong, and they needed to come to him and apologise. Their silence had been too long, but they were the ones in the wrong this time. Alex knocked on the door, and he opened it. He was shocked to see Dillon with her.

“What the fuck is he doing here?”

“We need to talk,” said Alex, pushing her way in. “Where’s your husband?”

“He’s not here.”

“Good. This will make things easier.”

“Just say what you’ve got to say, Alex, and go. He can wait outside.”

“I ain’t fucking going nowhere, mate,” said Dillon.

“What do you want, Alex?”

“You need to come for Sunday lunch today.”

“Why?”
