I need to claim her.
Chapter 16
Nix
Ifeel dizzy.
Drunk.
Like I’m on the edge of oblivion.
My lips press against the vampire’s fangs as I kiss him.
I can’t stop kissing him.
My fingers flex around Volik’s ridged horns as his tongue tangles with mine.
I feel empty.
I feel incomplete.
His chest vibrates against mine as I try to get closer.
The rumble rolls out of him everywhere.
Touches me everywhere.
I rock my hips against his torso, chasing the vibration with my core.
His palm shifts as he rubs his fingers against my entrance through my clothing, pushing the fabric of my soaked panties into my slit.
I don’t know what’s happening to me.
Don’t know what’s happening to him.
I don’t know why we’ve come together like magnets. Or why he feels so damn good.
I try to think rationally, but my brain can’t focus on anything but Volik.
On anything but getting more of him.
My blunt teeth drag over his lower lip, and for the first time in my life, I wish I had fangs.
I want to bite him.
I want to see what his blood tastes like.
His rumble continues as his hand lifts from my spine, and the door a dozen feet behind us slams shut.
The hand returns, gripping my side, then sliding up until his thumb is against the underside of my breast.
My hips roll against his rock-hard stomach.
Need.
I need Volik.
I loosen my hold on his horns and drag my hands down the back of his head.
