“Do you want to know?” Liam stuck his hand in his back pocket and pulled out thin white tickets.

I reached out but he held them against his chest. “Are you sure you’re ready to know?”

Sophia was practically vibrating with excitement while bouncing on her feet. “Please!”

Slowly he held out the tickets and let us read them.

“Anastasia?” I practically screamed the word. People were likely staring at us now but I didn’t care.

“We’re really going to see Anastasia?” Sophia’s demeanor had changed from excited to near stoic.

“Yes. Is that okay?”

She nodded over and over. “It was my favorite movie growing up.”

“Mine too!” We hugged each other and broke out in giggles.

Eli pulled us apart long enough to make me nearly cry. “We’re in center orchestra, just a few rows from the front.”

That did it. We both lost it, dancing in the middle of the sidewalk. This was everything I could have ever dreamed of. I was in the most magical city with new friends and a new potential soulmate about to see a show I’d been obsessing over since I was a baby.

I broke free of Sophia and slammed into Liam, wrapping my arms around his waist. “Thank you! I can’t believe you did this!”

He rested his chin on my head and held me. “I’m glad you’re excited. I hoped you two would like this show.”

“I love it.” I whispered into his chest.

His chest rumbled against me. “I’m glad you already love it since we haven’t even stepped into the theater yet.”

I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him once on the cheek. “Then let’s go!”

He laughed and grabbed my hang. “Come on guys.” He let us through the crowd to the end of the line. There was so much energy in the air. Everyone around us seemed just as excited as I was, well…maybe not that excited.

The line went by quickly and soon we were inside a beautiful theater. I expected something along the lines of what I’d seen in movies, but my world was blown away at the intricate artistry of the ceiling, fabrics, and the curtain. I was in heaven. We were escorted to our seats that were simply perfect. Just about level with the stage and in the very center. I had no idea how much tickets cost, but I had a feeling ours weren’t cheap.

Once we were seated, I took out my phone and began snapping pictures of the room to show to my family later. They were going to be so jealous, especially my sisters. Just the thought of rubbing this in their faces was enough to make me smile.

“Here let me take one of you two.” Sophia took my phone out of my hands before I could protest. Liam leaned forward and wrapped an arm around me. “Perfect, smile!”

After a few nods, she handed me back my phone.

“Your turn.” I grabbed her phone out of her purse and waved at Eli. “Squeeze in.”

He smiled and wrapped his arm around Sophia’s shoulders which she seemed to enjoy, judging by her smile. I snapped a few and handed it back.

“We’ll need to get one of the four of us in front of the theater after!”

They agreed just as a chime sounded.

“It’s almost time!” Sophia squealed.

Soon, the lights faded to black and the most magical music began. I was swept away to Russia and my heart nearly exploded. Everything was so much better than I could have ever imagined. The actors were perfect. The music and singing were flawless. I sighed and reached for Liam’s hand. I squeezed it once and peeked out of the corner of my eye. His smile was wide, and I couldn’t stop my own from growing.

Everything about this week had been magical. From meeting Liam to seeing the city to now watching my favorite characters come to life before my eyes.

There was nothing that could make it any better.

“Are you guys ready for the surprise?”
