There is no denying it now. “Just because it was me doesn’t mean I’m not a creepy stalker. I mean, I did find out where you lived.” I point out with a smirk. “Now, can I please teach you how to bowl so we can get this night over with?”
“Fine, creep.” She hands me the picture, which I tuck into my back pocket.
We resume our position with me showing her how to hold the ball. “With your fingers in the holes, bring your other hand up to cup the side of the ball.”
“Seems confusing,” Veronica says playfully. “I might need you to show me.”
Knowing my sister can’t see my face, I roll my eyes, but I know that she is watching us, so I decide to keep on the charade and grab Veronica’s left hand.
As I place it on the side of the bowling ball, she takes this as an opportunity to close the distance between us. Her back is now flush with my front. Her ass pressing directly into me, the sensation overwhelming me, but I hold in the groan that is threatening to escape.
It’s been forever since somebody else touched me there. I’ve been locked up for three years and out only for a little while. It’s not like women are lining up to sleep with me, so you can’t blame me for having this reaction.
Clearing my throat, I open my mouth to speak, but then Myles is interrupting me, “Chloe isn’t feeling good again. We are going to head home, but she insists on you two staying.”
Over my shoulder, I glance at Chloe, who is slinging her purse off her shoulder. She sees me staring and flashes me a smile paired with a wink. There is a good chance that she wants to leave because she’s feeling nauseous, but I can almost guarantee that she’s leaving with a purpose—to force Veronica and me to spend time together alone.
“Yeah, okay.” I sigh.
Myles smiles sheepishly before leaving me and Veronica to our little lesson.
“It's such a shame that they are leaving us all alone.” She fake sighs, wiggling herself against me.
“Can you focus on me telling you how to throw the damn ball?”
“I’m not sure if I can be taught. Not when I can feel you against me. It will be hard to concentrate.” She drops her head back until it’s resting on my shoulder. “You know what I’ve heard? You’re either good at bowling or good at sex. And since I’m terrible at bowling…”
She trails off, her words sinking in. “I’m good at bowling.”
“You are.” From here, I can see the smirk dancing on her face.
I breathe out a laugh, my hands holding hers a little bit tighter. With my mouth close to her ear, I respond in a low voice, “We both know which one I’m better at.”
My eyes drop to the pulse racing in her neck after hearing her sharp intake of breath. Veronica turns her head slightly to the side, and those green eyes look up at me through her dark lashes.
“I think I need a reminder.” She can’t control her body's movements as it squirms.
“Yeah?” I whisper, my nose nudging her temple. “You want me to take you somewhere and remind you how good it feels to have me inside you?”
“Mhm.” The one syllable comes out as a squeak. Her eyes fall to my lips, and she licks her own. “I would let you show me right here. I don’t care that we are surrounded by people.”
I hum in response, my thumb brushing against the back of her hand. “What a dirty little angel you are. Wanting me to take you with an audience.”
She shivers against me, her body melting into mine as the nickname sends chills through her.
“No. I don’t want everyone to watch you beg for forgiveness.” I lightly coast my lips across the side of her head. “Because that’s what you’d be doing, Vee. You’d be on your knees, begging me for forgiveness. Isn’t that right?”
“Yes,” she answers breathlessly.
“You wanna show me how sorry you are?” I shouldn’t be doing this, just like the million other things I shouldn’t have done in my life, but it’s been a long time since I’ve been with a woman.
Veronica isn’t the best choice—she is probably the worst choice.
But she is the easiest.
“Let’s change our shoes so we can leave,” I suggest, to which she eagerly nods.
Veronica slips out of my arms and races to the plastic seats to remove her bowling shoes. Ripping them off one at a time, she slips her heels back on and looks at me. I stalk towards her with a smirk, taking my time. I love the way she is fidgeting in the seat.
