After running around with Ced for a few hours, I ended up pulling up on Joy. I had to talk to her and see what the fuck was going on. We haven’t spoken since she hit me that night, telling me that her period was late. Since then, I’ve been reaching out, just to get an update, but she wasn’t responding. I knew that she hadn’t been going to work to dance, either.

I had some free time on my hands, so I pulled up to her apartment complex, parked my car in the visitors parking lot, and stepped out. I saw that her car was parked in her designated spot, which only meant that she was here.

Joy stayed on the first floor. I made it over to her door, pounded on the door with my fist, and it took about a minute for her to come open the door for me. She stood on the other side, and she looked like shit. She didn’t look ugly or anything because Joy was actually a very beautiful girl, but she looked sick.

Her shoulder length hair that was often styled in a bob look was all over her head. There was dark circles under her eyes, as if she hasn’t been getting much sleep. She stood there in just a cropped top that exposed her flat stomach, and belly button piercing. She wore boy short underwear that were clinging onto her body. Joy wasn’t the tallest. She was probably only 5’4”. The stage name Obsession that she’d given to herself fit her perfectly. That pussy was good. I did become obsessed with it, even though her shit wasn’t as good as Deja’s.

“What Hitta? I only opened the door because I thought that my food came,” she stated, right before she walked away from the front door, leaving my ass right there.

Joy had a banging ass body. Her ass was fat, so as she walked away, I got the perfect view of her, seeing the way her ass swallowed up the panties that she had on.

“That’s how you were going to open the door for somebody coming to bring you food? Fuck you got going on?” I asked, closing the door behind myself, and kicking my shoes off. I left my shoes by the door, and followed the direction that Joy went in.

She went to her bedroom. Her bed was made, but there was a throw blanket resting at the foot of the bed. She picked the blanket up, propped herself up on the bed, lay on her side, and placed the blanket around her body. I paid close attention to the small trash can that was on the side of the bed. A box of tissue was resting on her nightstand too.

Her eyes were glued to me, as I walked over to her. I did care about Joy. I just didn’t care about her in the way that I cared about Deja. Because I cared, I reached my hand out, just to place it on her forehead. I was checking to see if she had a fever. She didn’t though. She felt fine.

“You pregnant?” I just went ahead and asked the million-dollar question.

Hell, that was the reason I came over here in the first place. She couldn’t verbally answer my question. It’s as if it was going to pain her too much to answer it, so she just nodded her head at me. When she nodded, I picked both hands up, dragging them down my face, and sighed.

“Hitta, I already told you in the text message the other day that you don’t have to fuckin stick around for me, and the baby. We’re going to be straight regardless. Get out! I been sick like a fuckin dog for the past few days. The last thing I need is for you to come down here, looking like a sad puppy because I’m pregnant with your child. Nigga, you knew I wasn’t on birth control. I told you to pull out of me multiple times, but you did what the fuck you wanted to do. Get out!” she screamed at me, sounding like a mad woman.

“Ay, chill out with all that shit. Stop telling me that I don’t have to be a part of the baby’s life. What kind of nigga you take me for, huh? You think I’m just going to live life, and not take care of my fuckin responsibilities? If you choose to keep the baby, I’m going to man the fuck up, and help take care of my child. Look, I’m sure that my timing is probably fucked up, especially with you being sick and everything, but keep the pregnancy on the low. At least for right now. I just don’t want this shit getting back to Deja. Man, she’ll kill me over this shit. Me, and her were just beefing hard once she found out that I was fuckin with you. This will break her heart if she finds out that you’re having my baby. Plus, she just lost our baby earlier in the year,” I said, and when I finished saying that to her, not only did she look heartbroken over my words, but she looked pissed too.

“You think I give a fuck about that bitch being heartbroken? Now all of a sudden, you care about her feelings? If you cared so much about that hoe, you wouldn’t have had the time to get me pregnant. I’m not keeping my pregnancy a secret. If your hoe finds out, then she just finds out. Get the fuck out, Hitta! I don’t feel good!” she screamed, her voice cracking, and angry tears sliding down her face.

“You don’t feel good because you getting your own self riled up. Calm the fuck down, man. Why you so angry? When I met you, you used to be so sweet. Now, every time I come around you, the only thing you want to do is curse me out. Damn, what happened to the nice girl that I met and vibed with a few months ago? Your name Joy, but you acting like anger,” I was calm in my response, as I sat down on the bed. I could tell that her emotions were all over the place because she sat there, allowing tears to continue to fall down her face.

“I feel like you made me this way. I should have never got myself mixed up with you. Here I am, sitting here pregnant. I feel alone, and I’m scared. I’ve been sick, handling this by myself, and you come over, and the only thing you care about is my pregnancy not getting back to Poison. You’re worried about her feelings, but what about mine?” she asked, through the tears still falling down her face.

“I swear I don’t want to sound like a heartless nigga because I do have feelings for you, and I care about you, but Joy you knew what it was between me, and Deja from the beginning. I never led you on. I never told you that I was leaving my bitch. We go through our shit, but I love Deja. I take full responsibility for getting you pregnant. I knew you weren’t on birth control. I should have been a little smarter. I should have pulled out. It’s too late for all that though. You already pregnant. Ima step up and do my part. I wasn’t trying to upset you by telling you that I didn’t want Deja to find out. All I’m saying is to let me be the one to tell her. I don’t want her finding that shit out by you, or one of those messy hoes from the club,” I finished. It wasn’t what she wanted to hear, but she nodded her head, dropping it.

I wiped the tears from her eyes and pulled the throw blanket away from her body. Like it was nothing, I lifted her little ass up and placed her in my lap. Her arms wrapped around my neck, and mine went for her as. She looked up at me, while I looked down at her. I knew I was dead ass wrong for this shit because I was just buried deep in Deja’s pussy last night, giving her all these lies, telling her how I was going to do better and stop fuckin other hoes, but here I was.

Joy was able to get my pants undone, pull my dick out of the briefs that I was wearing, while I reached down, pulling her panties to the side. She got on top of that dick and had a field day. I sat back and enjoyed every second of this shit.

Once she got her nut off, I picked her up, tossed her on the bed, putting her in all fours. She was creaming all over my dick. Wetting it up the same way that Deja wet it up last night. I fucked her long, and hard, giving her the same strokes that Deja got last night. She released a couple of orgasms, and then passed out, taking her ass to sleep. All that crying, bitching, and moaning had come to an end.

While she slept, I sat here at the foot of the bed, with my eyes glued on her. She was naked, so I allowed my eyes to drop down to her belly. Her stomach was still flat. It was too soon for her to be showing.

I couldn’t believe that she was pregnant. I just wished that it was Deja that was carrying my child. I was going to lose my mind if Deja found out about this pregnancy, and she tried to leave me. She’s put up with so much shit from me since we’ve started fuckin around. I’m telling you, this wasn’t one of those things that she would stick around for. She would really try to leave me for this shit right here.

CHAPTER 8

DEJA MCCOY

The time had finally rolled around for me to do my stage set. All night, I could hear the cheers that were coming through the club. People were literally screaming for Poison to come out. I could hear them all the way in the locker room, where I was finishing with my hair, and make-up. Hearing those chants gave me the boost that I needed. Not to say that I would be nervous or anything to dance because I’ve been doing this for well over five years now, and I’ve long gone stopped being afraid to get out there, and dance for a crowd of people. The boost would just further remind me who the fuck I was, giving me all the confidence that I needed to get out there in front of everyone, and put on one hell of a performance.

I was dancing to Rocket by Beyoncé. It was one of my favorite songs to dance to. I’ve never had a stage set to this song, but this was often a song that I would practice to whenever I was home, or whenever I was in the studio. I liked this song because I could dance, and float up, and down the pole, without even trying to be sexy.

The lyrics spoke for itself, so it came natural for me to do my thing. With the song playing, I felt like I was in control of the room. I was halfway through the song, and there was so much money that had already been thrown at me. My top came off about a minute ago, leaving me in just my thong bottoms. Usually, I would never look out into the crowd. I liked to look everywhere in the room, except people. That was a trick that my aunt taught me when I started dancing. She would always say that you never wanted to look into the crowd because your eyes might fall on someone that you didn’t want to see, which could fuck your whole set up.

I broke my own rule tonight. I looked out into the crowd, and my eyes landed on him. A nigga that I didn’t expect to see. I just knew that when he came the other night, and threw all that money on me, that I would more than likely never seen him again at the club. I knew he wasn’t the kind of nigga to be outside like that. All the girls knew that he didn’t come to the clubs, but here he was.

It was Wolf. He was sitting at the bar, turned in his seat, watching me with his eyes zeroed in on me. Arms were folded, legs were partially opened, as he sat there with his game face on.

When I say that I put on the performance of my life once I saw him, I mean that. I thought that I would freeze up, since his gaze could be viewed as intimating, but I didn’t. I did a trick called the Fonji. If you were in the stripper world, then you would know that that trick was dangerous as hell. I didn’t do it often because it was one of those tricks that I feared I would land wrong and fall on my head in front of all these people. For Wolf, I’ll take that chance though.
