I chuckled, letting my forehead fall to hers as I kissed her face.

“Yeah, mama. The goal is for me to make you feel this good.”

Feeling confident enough to let go, I fucked her harder. I hadn’t forgotten her request, and of course, her wish was my command. Over and over, I slammed my hips into hers, careful not to give her too much too soon. She might have asked me to fuck her hard, but she had no idea what she was saying.

“Sawyer!” She shrieked.

Her body bowed off the bed. I dipped my head to take one of her nipples into my mouth as she pushed her chest into mine. I covered her other titty, loving the softness and weight of it in my hand.

“Sawyer, Sawyer, baby, don’t let me go!” she shouted, throwing her arms around my neck and pulling me closer to her.

Her hips thrashed wildly, meeting me each time. She was so slippery, so snug that I—

“Hmmm.” I hummed against her hot flesh as she clenched around me, pulling my nut out of me before I was ready to let it go.

For a long while, we lay tangled together before I had the strength to pull away. Her legs tightened around my back before I could get up.

“Stay,” she murmured.

“I’m not going anywhere, mama. Let me clean you up,” I requested, pushing up on my hands.

“Sawyer, please.”

I leaned forward and kissed her forehead before rolling over and pulling her onto my chest.

“I’m right here, mama.”

By the time Z eased out of bed, I was dozing off. I didn’t even open my eyes while she washed me down with a warm rag, then kissed my cheek.

“I’m just about to freshen myself up. Don’t leave, baby,” she said.

There was no need for me to repeat myself. If she needed me to stay right here, then that was what I would do. I would be anywhere she needed me to be, whenever she needed me. I wasn’t sure who she was running from or who she was. One thing was for certain: I wasn’t letting anyone hurt her anymore. Not even me if it came down to it.

After my second full week of work, Sawyer and I finally had sex again. He listened to my request for him to spend the night with me, but I woke up to an empty bed and a stack of money on the nightstand. It only took a second for me to decide if I should be offended or not. I picked the phone up and called his room. I almost hung up after deciding he was probably somewhere in the casino working. Before I could hang up the receiver, he answered, and I lit into him.

“What the hell is this money for, Sawyer?”

He chuckled. “Damn, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone get mad about money.”

“I don’t need you leaving money on the nightstand for me like I’m a prostitute. That is not what we’re doing.”

“Baby, calm down. It’s your pay for working. I told Denise not to put you on payroll because I didn’t want to raise any red flags in the system. We had to get rid of five people before who were hired with fake credentials by someone behind the scenes. The software would have flagged you immediately, so I told her I would handle your pay.”

“Oh, shit!” I said, plopping down on the bed. “I’m so sorry. See how warped my mind is when it comes to men and money.”

“It’s cool, mama. Don’t ever speak to me like that again, though.”

“I apologize, but Sawyer, this is four thousand dollars.”

“That’s all I had on me. You need something?”

“How much does that job pay? I didn’t make four thousand dollars a month on my last job. I’ve only been working for two weeks.”

“How much do you need? I guess we should have talked about that.”
