“How about we take a walk back.” Except there is no question in his tone. “See those nice corner windows?” He points to the building as I admire it and nod. “I got to sit right against the window for the conference.”

“Must have been difficult to ignore the ocean view and pay attention to those speaking.” I know he damn well saw me.

“The last three hours were spent watching other guys admire you squatting in your barely-there bikini. I lost count of how many times they were pulling at your ponytail.” He’s trying to keep a level tone as we walk into the hotel. “What the hell was with that?”

“I guess they like pulling my hair as much as you did.” It’s either the drink kicking in, or the heat is starting to make me feel lightheaded and a bit too daring.

“Josie, they were all over you.” His gaze roams down my body, and I know he’s wanting to grab my hand or grip my shoulder to stake a claim.

“Sounds like someone isn’t happy I did as I was told.” We step into the elevator, and he’s brushing against me, as if trying to cover me up with himself. “Emmett, all the other girls were wearing these bikinis too.”

“You’re the only one I noticed and, apparently, so did those guys.”

“Maybe because I freaking glow!” I toss my hands up and huff a frustrated breath.

“Josie.” His voice drops as he eyes my water bottle and steps into me. The elevator chimes open into our suite–a cool perk with this penthouse. “Do I smell alcohol on your breath?”

“Do you doubt the way your nose works?” I make my way toward one of the three bathrooms in this place, slowly pulling at the strings of my bikini and letting the garments fall to the floor.

“How drunk are you?” He follows me as I turn on the shower, glancing over my shoulder back at him. His lips roll inward as our eyes meet. Then he blinks to look away, channeling all will power to avoid eye contact with my bare body.

“I’m not drunk.”

“You sure as hell are acting out of character.” As pissed as he seems to be, the bulge in his shorts shows I’m affecting him in many ways. “Underage drinking with strangers? Don’t get me started on your previous naïve lapse in judgment.”

“I’ve been in character since the moment we met. Maybe I’m dropping the act.” The water pellets over my body, and I lather it in soap, desperate for him to join me.

“You never let strangers put their hands on you. I know that much for fucking sure.” He’s not one to swear outside of sex, so this is fueling me that I’m making progress.

“Well, it’s not like the hands I want are on me.” I lift my hand to detach the fancy handheld showerhead from the wall. His eyes widen and drop to my hand as I slowly lower the sprayer between my legs. The outline of his dick is about to tear through his shorts, but he still hasn’t made his way over.

“Come touch me.” I hold the strength in my voice. “Please.”

“Oh no, you don’t.” He walks over, yanking the showerhead from my hand, and turns the water off. “Only good girls get to come.” Reaching for the towel, he wraps it around me like a child. With a quick bend in his knees, I’m lifted and carried over his shoulder.

“You started this,” I snap as he carries me to our bedroom.

“I didn’t tell you to drink around strange men.” He opens my suitcase, tossing me whatever clothing he grabs first.

“But fucking them all is completely fine.” I open my towel and stand. “You think they’d enjoy sharing me?” I look down my body and slide a finger over my aching clit. “I bet having multiple hands teasing my body would really spark a new sensation.”

What the fuck am I saying?

Whatever, it’s working.

“You have me so wound up and have no idea what this feels like,” he basically growls. At least for him.

“Let me take care of that for you.” I bat my flirty hazel eyes toward his dick, but his jaw ticks. “And maybe if you behave, you can watch others take care of me.” I hold seduction to my voice and begin to rub myself.

“Oh, I’m not just talking sexually frustrated, little darlin’.” I stare down at the maxi dress and sweatpants he tossed at me. “You think you can get me all riled up and I’ll take the bait? You’re not getting any satisfaction from me, yourself, or those frat boys.” My head feels floaty as the alcohol fully kicks in. Not the best timing for that to happen.

“I brought Eros along for the trip too.” I nod toward my bag, where the vibrating device is stored.

“Get dressed, Josie.” I blink a few times, trying to focus, and he sighs as he makes his way over to help get me dressed. “I can do it, Emmett. But if you’re walking over to my naked body, you might as well take advantage of it.” Maybe adding the extra shot in the drink was unnecessary, since I’m not one for consuming alcohol.

“Taking advantage of a drunk girl isn’t the type of guy I am.” I roll my eyes and spin my finger around the string of his bathing suit shorts. “Or ever was.”

“I’m not drunk.” Though, I am probably close to it, because I’ve never felt my head this floaty and my brain unable to completely focus. “It’s too hot for sweats,” I whine, though a chill passes through me from the air conditioner.
