“There’s my fucking Butterfly,” he whispers, satisfied. “You can’t hide and pretend this is wrong now.”

He pumps faster.

“Look at me,” he orders.

I glare at him over my shoulder as I pant. My body is already racing toward a second climax.

“We aren’t a mistake. Say it,” he persists, not letting up.

His hands grip mine harder, almost a threat, but not quite. There is desperation under the anger in his eyes. My chest rises too fast. His gaze searches mine as he relentlessly pushes me.

I give in.

“We aren’t a mistake,” I say in a rush and then scream his name as I come so hard that dots dance behind my eyes.

Cyrus doesn’t stop. He doesn’t let up. My lips part to speak, but I feel weightless as if I’m floating in a pleasure-induced nothingness.

He starts to lose his rhythm, and I know he’s close.

“Fuck, you feel so fucking good. So tight and wet. Fuck…” Cy roars as he jerks with each release.

He slowly pulls out and turns me around to face him. I watch as he tucks himself back into his jeans and then bends over to pull mine up over my ass.

“You’re…insane,” I whisper between sharp breaths as I lean back against the bars to stay upright.

His forehead dips close to mine.

“So are you,” he says softly. “For still wanting me after everything.”

And I don’t even bother to deny it.

“No matter how hard I try to escape, his name still sounds like home.” – Haven

CYRUS

It’s beyond shocking that there isn’t a lineup of fans and paparazzi waiting for us when Officer Grimes opens the front door and says we are free to go.

Declan stands beside the limo, but other than that, the parking lot only has a smattering of police vehicles casting shadows along the pavement in the morning sun.

Haven grabs my arm, stopping me before we reach the car.

“I need to know something,” she says, and I prep myself for the question. “What did you promise that guard to let you in my cell?”

My lip twitches and then curls up.

“Wouldn’t you like to know.”

“Yeah, actually, I would. That’s why I asked.” Haven crosses her arms. “That was illegal, and unprofessional, and…”

“Are you planning to get him fired?”

“I should,” she huffs, and looks away. “No. I guess not. You’re infuriating.”

“I am,” I say with a shrug, and head to the limo. “But you brought it on yourself.”
