Jasmine stood by the table and adjusted her boobs in her tight bikini top.
“I heard the guys were on the way back and wanted to make sure I was ready for Torrent. He gets so horny on a run, and we know that little miss Cecilia isn’t giving it up to him,” Jasmine taunted.
Cecilia had tried nice. She’d tried ignoring Jasmine, and she knew that others had warned Jasmine to leave Torrent alone. Torrent had also said he’d told her to get gone.
“You know, it’s amazing to me how some things can be so clear, yet it doesn’t sink in that last quarter inch into some people’s heads,” Cecilia said.
“Are you talking about me? Oooo, the little mouse speaks,” Jasmine mocked.
Monster had been lying quietly at her feet, but when Jasmine shifted toward her, he growled low and long.
“Good thing you have the dog to fight your battles,” Jasmine scoffed.
The anger that she’d tried to keep a handle on bubbled up. Fuck it. She was the wife of a biker, and she wasn’t going to put up with juvenile behavior anymore.
Cecilia stood, turning toward Jasmine. Maverick started to rise but Cecilia held her hand out. It was time she took out the trash once and for all.
“I had a lot of assumptions about you, Jasmine, when I first saw you, and now I’m rethinking them,” Cecilia said.
“Oh, really? What assumptions?” Jasmine challenged.
“I thought you must be smart because you were using your skills in exchange for room and board,” Cecilia remarked.
“What skills?” Jasmine demanded.
Seriously? Was Jasmine really asking her?
“Your Hoover-like mouth and your well-used vagina,” Cecilia said, taking a couple steps away from the table.
“You bitch!” Jasmine screamed.
“Now, you can’t get angry because I’m telling the truth. That would be rude. Even though you said I needed to leave, I was still willing to leave you alone as long as you kept your mouth shut, but you can’t help yourself,” Cecilia said.
Jasmine turned toward her, her right foot moving a little. Oh, this was going to be fun because once Jasmine rushed, Cecilia wouldn’t feel bad about anything that happened after that.
“He’ll come back to me,” Jasmine hissed.
“No, he won’t. If he didn’t make you his Ol’ Lady or marry you in the eight years you’ve been here, he’s not going to. You were a convenient hole to get off in. He’s my husband, and, well, I’m fucking possessive. You can either choose to quit talking about him, or I’ll make you quit,” Cecilia stated with flat, chilling certainty.
Jasmine stared at her. Oh, yeah, Jasmine was going for a fight. Cecilia let all the anger she’d felt about everything and the hate she had for Useless bubble up. Jasmine rushed her. Cecilia let her get close, then stepped to the side, grabbing Jasmine’s hair, swinging her toward the booth. Jasmine crashed into the booth, scraping her arms and chest, but jumped back up.
“What the fuck, bitch?” Jasmine yelled and rushed Cecilia again. This time, Cecilia got ready with her arms up. When Jasmine ran toward her, Cecilia didn’t sidestep. She put every bit of strength and anger behind a right jab straight at Jasmine’s nose. The satisfying crunch of her nose breaking and Jasmine’s scream was music to Cecilia’s ears.
Jasmine grabbed her nose as blood poured through her fingers.
“You’ll pay for this,” Jasmine wheezed.
Cecilia stepped closer, but Maverick had jumped up and was standing beside her. Mammoth had grabbed Jasmine’s arm, keeping her an arm’s length from Cecilia.
“No, I won’t, but if you try to do anything to anyone I love, then I won’t just break your nose. Funny thing—I don’t treat anything that I’ve inflicted. I do have a question, though,” Cecilia said.
“What?” Jasmine spat, jerking, trying to get her arm loose from Mammoth.
“How’d you know the guys were on their way back?” Cecilia asked.
“Um, what?” Jasmine stammered.
The wild look in her eyes said everything. Cecilia had been trying to figure out how private information from the clubhouse seemed to be getting to Judith. When Cecilia had told Dragon about the phone call, he had said he was waiting to find out what time the guys would be back. Torrent was supposed to call when he had passed through Demise. The only way Jasmine could know that the guys were close to home was if she had an outside source.
