The Next Morning….

Iwas up two hours before work, some days I did my makeup while other days I didn’t. Today, I felt sexy and ready to conquer the world. Beast fucked me so good, my period started early. I was only bleeding very lightly, but small cramps were felt in my lower abdomen. He still remained in my bed sleep. After my shower, I dried off and let my bathroom air out while I got dressed in my work attire. Finally going back in the bathroom, I did a light beat to my face and applied my mink eye lashes to finish the look. My hair sat up in a high, afro, curly ponytail with baby hairs adorning my face.

I stepped back, looked at my curvy frame and smiled. I was starting to fall more in more in love with myself each day. I had a good paying job, a new apartment that I was moving into soon, and a man that liked and loved me for me. Making my way to the kitchen, I made Praise a quick breakfast. Before I could bring it to him, he stood shirtless at the kitchen entrance. His face looked relaxed, and those gray eyes twinkled at me. Praise was back to the forefront. I smiled, sitting his plate down on the kitchen table. Walking right into his arms, his tall frame had to lean all the way down until his nose was buried in the crook of my neck. He inhaled my scent and kissed my neck, making me blush hard. I had it bad for this man.

“Damn Yori, you smell so fucking good…let me get a quickie before we leave. Is ya girl still at the hospital?”

As bad as I wanted to, I knew I couldn’t since I was lightly bleeding. Shaking my head no, I told him I started my cycle.

“Baby, all you gotta do is lay back on the bed under a towel. You can play in that bloody Mary while you suck my dick. It’s a win-win!” He sucked my ear lobe as my cheeks grew hot.

“Yea, you a real fucking freak. I like that shit! Let’s go to the room now!”

I started laughing hard as hell because this man was really fucking crazy.

“Eat your breakfast, Praise. I’ve got to go,” I told him, checking my watch as I tried to get as far as possible from his nasty ass. I wanted to ask him if he had seen his daughter lately, he usually brings her up.

“Listen, we got to talk, Kayori.”

Fear clenched my stomach as I tried to think on what it was that he was about to say. Since I had thirty minutes to get to work, I pulled my phone out and texted Brian, telling him that I caught a flat tire to buy some time.

“Let’s talk now.” I faced him, ready to hear whatever it was he had to say. I always tried to brace myself with bad news before anything.

“Stop overthinking baby. It’s nothing too bad, but I just got to put you up on game. I can’t leave you in the blind. I’m pretty sure you know who I am and what I come with. I hope you keep an open mind with what I’m about to tell you.”

His phone alerted him, he checked the message and smiled. Not realizing I had been frowning at that action, he chuckled as those damn dimples in his cheeks tried to charm me.

“You the only female that got my heart, so let all that insecurity and thinking the worse shit go. That ain’t a good look on you, Yori… One of my soldiers texted me. I got guards protecting Stone. My boy is awake.”

I felt foolish. Here I was being all jealous and he had just received good news. I was sure that Meshalay was happy and relieved as well. He ran everything else down to me about his brother and Gunna’s betrayal, his ex-Nia was still alive, and how Laquanna played a major role in it all. It was a whole lot to digest.

“You got to come stay with me for a while because I don’t know who is watching you to get to me. You got to let me protect you.”

“Praise, I am moving in a week. I don’t think your problems is mine.”

He glared hard at me. Sitting in silence, he cleared his plate within five minutes. Taking his time cleaning his mouth, then standing to his feet. I followed him back to my room waiting to see what he had to say to that.

“This shit not up for debate, pack a bag, I will take you to work. My guards will stand by watching you for protection, and no, they won’t even be noticeable. You can stay with me until it’s time for you to move and even then, my men will still watch you. This is what comes with being involved with a nigga like me. I won’t overstep your privacy, I just got to protect you at all times.”

He looked sincere and stressed at the same time. I decided to just agree and let it be, he was absolutely right. I knew who he was, which was why I tried to stay away from him to begin with. I had a dull ache in my chest at the thought of even losing him now. Funny how the tables had turned. I went from being totally against Praise to having feelings deeper than I could explain.

“Okay, I’ll stay with you for a week…and then I move to my own place, Praise… with your bodyguards whoever you put in place. Remember, we take things slow.”

He smiled and slipped his feet inside of his Gucci sneakers.

“You got it, Juicy. I need the address to your new place… just to let my security team know that they will have a new security detail in a week.”

I pulled my phone out and texted him the information, then went to my walk-in closet to pack a bag and get all the hygiene items I needed. When we finally made it outside, he placed a kiss to my lips and handed me a key with a black card that I declined, but he refused to back down. He told me to shop and get myself some stuff that made me happy. This man was really a blessing and sincere, it was so much that we needed to discuss about us. However, all I wanted to do was go with the flow of things.

“Juicy?” He called my name softly as I buckled my seatbelt, looking at him with raised eyebrows. He finally spoke, leaving me speechless all over again.

“You look sexier without makeup, baby. Those scars add sex appeal to your pretty ass face. With the makeup, it feels like I can’t really see you, baby.”

He made my heart flutter as I replayed his words in my head. Turning on his loud ass music, he smoothly pulled off my street.
