‘Say it,’ he demanded, slamming me deeper, faster. ‘Say you’re mine.’

‘I—ah—’ I gasped, my nails carving into his back.

He bit my lip, breath hot and furious. ‘You belong to me. Nobody else gets to touch you. Nobody else gets this cunt dripping for them. Only me. Always me.’

Every thrust was brutal, punishing, his cock hitting so deep I thought I might break apart. The wet slap of our bodies echoed with his guttural sounds, animalistic and raw, and gods help me—I wanted every filthy word, every savage thrust. I wanted him to ruin me, to fuck me into the wall until I shattered.

‘Say it!’ he commanded, pounding into me with savage force. ‘Say you’re mine.’

‘Yours,’ I gasped, my voice breaking on a moan. My nails bit into his shoulders, a matching violence to the way he fucked me, every brutal thrust stealing my breath.

‘Again,’ he snarled, his mouth at my ear, his words filth and fire. ‘Say it like you mean it.’

‘Yours, Poseidon—’ The cry tore out of me as he slammed deeper, stretching me to the limit. ‘I’m yours!’

A guttural groan rumbled from his chest, his cock driving harder, faster, as though claiming me with every thrust. ‘That’s right. My perfect little sinner. My cunt to fuck, my body to worship. You’ll take everything I give you.’

My vision blurred, pleasure twisting sharp and hot in my belly. He angled his hips, and his cock dragged against the spot that sent me spiralling. I cried out, clinging to him as the orgasm ripped through me, violent and overwhelming, my body seizing around his cock.

‘Fuck, yes—tighten on me like that,’ he growled, breath ragged as he pistoned into me, relentless. ‘Scream for me, Little Red. Let them all know who makes you come.’

I screamed, my climax tearing me open, fire and lightning crackling through my veins as wave after wave crashed over me.

Poseidon’s rhythm turned feral, hips slamming into mine with bruising force. His breath caught, a savage sound breaking free as his cock pulsed deep inside me. ‘Mine,’ he roared, spilling hot and thick, filling me with every punishing thrust until he was spent, trembling with the force of it.

Pinned between him and the wall, my body still shuddering with aftershocks, I could only cling to him—breathless, wrecked, utterly claimed.

Slowly, the storm drained from him. His movements gentled until he stilled, forehead pressed to mine, breath ragged. For a long moment, he only held me, chest heaving, as though afraid to let me go.

‘Kardia mou,’ he murmured, voice husky but softer now.

‘What does kardia mou mean?’ I asked breathlessly.

‘My heart,’ he said simply—two words that made mine stumble in my chest. His thumb traced my cheek with unexpected care. ‘I’m sorry if I was too rough.’ He kissed the corner of my mouth, feather-light, reverent, the opposite of the way he had just taken me. ‘I never want to hurt you. Not you.’

His hands, once bruising, now cradled me carefully as he lowered me from the wall, gathering me against his chest.

‘I can’t lose you,’ he whispered into my hair. ‘Not to Ixion. Not to anyone. Not even to myself.’

My heart twisted. I wanted to believe him—wanted him desperately, in a way that terrified me, but doubt gnawed sharply at the edges of my need. Gods were mercurial. They loved like tempests, fierce and consuming… and then they left wreckage behind.

I’d always protected my heart; it kept me from shattering into pieces. Could I trust him not to break me the same way? Could I survive if he did?

Yet, even as fear coiled deep, I clung tighter to him—because in that moment of storm and tenderness, ruin and salvation, I wanted him. Even if it destroyed me.

CHAPTER 30

POSEIDON

Ishould have stepped back.

After what I’d done to her against that wall—after the way I’d lost myself to the beast inside me—I should have let her breathe, but the thought of leaving her, of letting even the space of a heartbeat come between us, was unbearable.

She was mine. And I was hers, whether she believed it yet or not.

I scooped her into my arms, her skin still hot against mine, her hair mussed from my roughness. This time I held her carefully, not crushing, not claiming, but as if she were something rare and breakable. Carrying her felt as if i was carrying the whole world.

I laid her down against the bed, the sheets catching around her bare skin. For a moment, I just hovered there, looking at her, chest tight with all the things I’d never said. She glared at me still, proud, defiant even after everything.
