Her hands went to his head to keep him right there.
Right in that spot.
The sensations between his mouth, his fingers, his cock inside her.
She was rising and falling. Her thighs were burning and she was cresting and turning the corner at a speed faster than she’d ever felt before.
He was moaning right there with her, his hips lifting on the bed and almost sending her off, trying to get deeper inside her.
Then he bit down harder at the same time his thumb smashed her swollen bud and she screamed out his name.
She was coming so intensely that it actually hurt her chest.
Deep inside, touching a part of her heart.
Ash was still lifting inside her. Harder. Faster.
Then every part of her body just stilled.
Everything but the pounding of her heart as he pulled her down and held her tight.
“That’s what happens to cocky girls,” he mumbled.
“I’m cocky,” she said. “And I will be tomorrow and every day until I die if it feels this good.”
He kissed the top of her head, her eyes shut and she drifted to sleep with a smile on her face.

SO MUCH MORE
The crackling of the scanner in the other room had him rolling over to hear what came across it. If it was a punch out—an extreme situation— it was another sound. One loud enough for even his neighbors to hear above and below him.
Ash wondered if they had heard Skye shouting out earlier.
The smile filled his face in the dark over that thought.
“What’s going on?” she asked and snuggled close to him.
“A call,” he said. “I wanted to see if it’s a fire or a false alarm.” His arm wrapped around her, holding her tight.
“If it’s a fire, we should go.”
He sighed. He knew she’d say that. “Let’s see what it is and where. There is no reason to go out if we don’t know for sure.”
It wasn’t like it was a vehicle fire. If it were that, it’d be different, but it seemed to him the person might be moving on.
Not exactly what he wanted to hear. That they were changing their MO.
It only made them harder to catch.
But ten minutes later, he was swinging his legs over the side of the bed.
“We’re going?” she asked.
“Against my better judgment.”
He reached for his phone to see what time it was.
