Hayes split him with said cock a second later.

Beckett didn’t last long. All of it was too much. His body was a mess of bruises, cuts, and some cracked ribs, singing with pleasure and pain in equal measure. They melted together until he was nothing but sensation. When the dam broke, and he finally came, mindlessly chanting his lover’s name against the cold tiles he was pressed against, he felt tears pool in his eyes.

Hayes wasn’t finished yet, and kept fucking him at a frantic pace. Beckett shook as over-stimulation took over. But Hayes wasn’t done with him. His hand wrapped around his spent cock, the touch pulling a plea and a hiss from Beckett.

“No rest for the wicked,” Hayes chuckled against his ear.

Beckett leaned his head back against Hayes’ shoulder, letting him do as he pleased, even as his body twitched intermittently, instinctively seeking to escape the continued contact. His torturous pain only spurred Hayes on. Beckett could tell he was close to coming, the sounds of Hayes’ groin slapping his ass almost deafening in the small shower. Beckett clenched around him, bucking into Hayes’ hand as his cock came to life again, growing harder by the second.

A few thrusts later, Beckett’s ass was filled by Hayes’ cum as he came with a shout. Beckett was right behind him, spilling over Hayes’ hand. The release itself was almost as painful as it had been pleasurable.

“Fuck,” Beckett groaned, as he pressed himself even closer to the tile. Hayes was like a weighted, hot blanket on his back as his struggled to recover from his orgasm, feeling a bit unsteady on his feet.

“Did I kill you?” Hayes asked, amused as Beckett attempted, and subsequently failed, to push off the wall.

“Not yet—but really fucking nearly,” he replied, laughing.

“Next time,” Hayes said.

“Yes—next time,” Beckett agreed, and when he turned to look at Hayes, they shared a moment. Time. What an incredible concept. They had plenty of time. Years. Decades. For two men who’d spent their entire adult lives flirting with early graves—being so fond of the idea of time was foreign, but not unlike a delayed orgasm—it was something they were desperately looking forward to.

“Take me to bed, Nancy,” Beckett asked. They shared a quick peck before they staggered to the bedroom and collapsed onto the bed, wrapped around each other.

They set no alarms and ignored their phones.

They had all the fucking time in the world.

Epilogue

Unsurprisingly, Gill Forbes appeared thoroughly disgruntled when they walked into his office bright and early—at ten o’clock—the following Monday morning. Beckett still looked like something the cat dragged in, chewed up, and spit out, but at least Hayes looked sharp and professional in his Armani suit. So, at least one of them was presentable.

“Did you know that I have over 30 field agents under my direct supervision, and that you two are the only ones who manage to get tangled up in some kind of insanity at least once a month?”

“Weird way to say I love you, but I know your generation isn’t really good at saying gooey stuff like that so—” Beckett winked at him, wincing as it pulled at his split eyebrow.

Gill ignored him, picking up the iPad on his desk and peering at the screen over the top of his glasses.

“Rosario family patriarch arrested for human trafficking—” He read directly from the headlines. He swiped at the screen with his index finger to pull up another news story. “Fall of an empire—human trafficking scandal ruins the Rosario name.” He swiped again. “Mario Rosario, head of a human trafficking ring—what else was he hiding?”

Shaking his head, he placed the iPad back on his desk. “How’s your new brother-in-law faring?” he asked Beckett.

Beckett shrugged. He knew very little about the current situation with Matthew. Franklin had sent him a quick text after he got home, stating simply that they were dealing with the fallout one day at a time. Otherwise, it had been radio silence as of late.

“Matthew says there’s no such thing as bad press—” Beckett said.

“That and he cut a deal with the FBI to leak his contributions to building their case once the trial started,” Hayes said.

Beckett turned to him, one eyebrow hitched in surprise.

“What? Why!” This was news to him.

“He wanted to put his siblings’ spin on the story. They had nothing to do with their uncle’s business. They were as surprised as the rest of the world to hear about it, and once they did—they worked closely with the authorities to put Mario behind bars.”

Hayes wasn’t one to make shit up. Therefore, he’d heard it from somewhere—dammit—had Hayes and Matthew been talking behind his back? Had these two started a group chat named “Partners of the Nut House Family” in secret?

“Of course,” Gill said, leaning back in his seat, once again looking unimpressed and annoyed.

“Where’d you hear that?” Beckett asked, squinting suspiciously at his partner.
