Reeves couldn’t help the way his hormones fired at the beautiful woman standing in front of him. “All right,” he drawled. “I’ll do my best.”

“How many channels do you have?”

“Six,” he said.

A heavy breath fell out of her mouth. “Six?”

“Yes.” He grinned at her.

“That wasn’t a question.”

“How am I supposed to know that?”

Bailey squinted at him again. “Which one’s your most popular?”

“Teton Mountain Man.” He grinned. “Sorry, the name of the channel is three words.”

“What kinds of other channels do you have?”

“One on Alaska. I did a fishing one. I have a travel one. I have one on woodworking and blacksmithing, and one reserved that I haven’t put any videos on yet for something still in the future.” He shrugged one shoulder. “You can change the name.”

She paused, then asked, “Are you rich?”

“It depends on your definition of the word.”

She glared at him and took a step closer. “Would I think you’re rich?”

“Yes,” he said.

“Do you have any other houses outside of Coral Canyon?”

“Not anymore.”

She didn’t fire off another question, and it sure seemed like Reeves had given her enough answers to satisfy her. She crowded into his personal space and settled herself on his lap, and Reeves wrapped his arms around her and cradled her against his chest.

“That’s all?” he asked.

“Yes,” she said softly.

“Which do you like more: making videos or farming?”

“I like the animals the best,” he said. “And I enjoy taking care of the land, because it makes me feel like I’ve done something good with my time and accomplished something real.” He took a long moment to think further through how he felt about his farm and land and animals.

“It feels like God has entrusted them to me,” he said. “And I want to do right by them, and ultimately by God.”

“I haven’t seen you leave and go to church on Sundays,” Bailey said.

“Nope.” He sighed in a mighty way. “Church is a very public place.” His arms tightened around her for just a moment, then released. “Do you go to church?”

“Sometimes,” she said. “Sometimes it’s nice to just be home in the silence. I can hear God better there anyway.”

“I’d go with you if you’d like,” he said. “I mean, I’m going to be going to this big wedding in only a couple of days, and you’ve told me that the whole town will be there.”

“There will be hundreds of people,” she said. “Probably more than you’d see at church.” She lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him. “Bryce has invited me to the one he goes to up in Dog Valley. He says the pastor is good, and the sermons are short, and a couple of his uncles go, and Harry, and his best friend Adam, who manages Country Quad.”

Reeves swallowed, not sure he wanted to commit to attending a church ceremony. “Maybe let’s see how the wedding goes first.”

Bailey nodded. “You believe in God, though.” It wasn’t a question.
