My heart thumped erratically in my chest, seeing that there was for sure a double meaning behind his words. No doubt he was curious to see who would hire him with these kinds of descriptions because it probably didn’t happen very often. I was more than a little nervous, debating how I should reply. I needed to be cool and professional.

To Kellan,

Hello. Thank you for getting back to me. This wedding is my ex-boyfriend’s. I am hiring you, basically, to make him jealous and realize what he lost. We’re basically going to crash a wedding, and I need you to be okay with that.

I will pay you whatever you need to do it, but I don’t want the full package. I don’t want to have sex, but I’ll need you to pretend that we are intimate and be touchy-feely while we are at the wedding and reception. If this all works for you, I will meet you at Café Dumont.

Sincerely,

Serena

I let out a deep breath when I hit send, realizing just how psychotic I sounded. No doubt he was going to think that I was the crazy ex-girlfriend who couldn’t get over the fact that her ex was moving on with someone new.

It wasn’t even that if I was being honest.

I was the one who let him go, but I didn’t want him to move on with someone new.

How wrong does that sound?

My computer dinged. I didn’t decide to wait this time, knowing that if he was going to call me a terrible person, I might as well just get it over with. Thankfully though, his response was quite pleasant.

Dear Serena,

It’s not my place to judge why you do things so long as I get paid for my services. I respect that you don’t want to have sex, but I am still going to charge the full price because you never know what is going to happen. If it ends up not happening, I will refund you the portion included for that.

I look forward to meeting you, Serena. Have a good night.

Sincerely,

Kellan

My heart pounded in my chest, letting out a deep breath when I realized that he wasn’t going to judge me for what I doing. IIt was like he didn’t even care. I sighed, shutting my laptop as I leaned back on the bed, gazing up at the ceiling.

Was I doing the right thing?

I wasn’t so sure, but it was too late to back down now.

CHAPTER TWO

Kellan

Café Dumont was not far from my apartment, about a two-block walk. Before I left, I stood in front of my floor-length mirror, making sure I was presentable for this Serena’s liking.

I had to admit, I was intrigued. The reason she was hiring someone, what kind of person she wanted, and the fact she didn’t want to bring sex into the mix, was making me more and more curious about her. If she was everything I thought she was going to be, I knew I was going to have her in my bed by the end of this one way or another. It was not like me to be so interested in someone I have never met, but meeting someone who states she’s in the DDLG community outright is a first for me. I just hope this was all worth it.

I made sure that I was dressed in my best, showing off my body but being modest at the same time. I wore a button-up long-sleeved shirt, leaving the first few buttons loose so she would be able to see a bit of my chest. To top it off, I wore nice, fitted blue jeans that showed off my muscular physique and black combat boots to give me a bit of a rugged side.

The kind of man a lot of women like.

I debated on slicking my hair back, but since she was into the DDLG lifestyle, I decided that me looking too professional would put her off. She would want someone who was cool but relaxed, and would be the talk of the party.

We would be the perfect it couple.

We would fool them all!

I smirked, grabbing my watch and putting it on before stuffing my phone and wallet into my pants. It was about ten minutes before I needed to arrive, and it made me wonder if she was going to be there early, waiting for me. My dick twitched, already eager to set my sights on this woman, but I knew I had to tone it down a little bit.

I couldn’t scare off my last customer.
