I spend the next twenty minutes asking her questions I already know, but I just want to hear her talk. I like watching her get all excited about it. At one point, she walks to my side of the desk and looks over my shoulder at the graph on my paper.

She is so close to me. All I’d have to do is look up from my paper, and her sweet lips would be right there just begging for me to kiss them. But her office door is open, and I know she would absolutely blow a gasket if I did that. So, I breathe her in and let her go back to her seat without putting my lips on hers. Such a shame.

“Alright, Mr. Mitchell. As much fun as this has been, I’ve got to get to my next class.”

I stand up and grab all of my things. “No problem, Doc. I’ll be back on Wednesday.”

“Wes.”

“Yes?” I ask innocently.

“What are you doing?”

“I need help in class, and the syllabus says you’re always available to help during office hours.”

She looks at me with a knowing look. Ok, obviously, I don’t need help in this class. Her class is actually one of my favorite classes. But I’m not going to let her push me away, and this is the best way I can think to stop her.

I lean across the desk so that I’m face to face with her.

“Listen, baby. You don’t want me at your house? Fine. I’ll stay away. But here, at school, I’m going to be around as much as I can. I know your pussy wants me, but you need to open your heart up to me too.”

She meets my gaze, not backing down. That’s my girl.

“You don’t know anything about my heart,” she counters.

“Because you won’t let me. I want it all, baby. Everything you’ll give me, I want. And I have a feeling I’m eventually going to get it.”

“Oh, you’re so sure of yourself then?”

“With this? Absolutely. I know it’s just a matter of time before you are begging me to be back between your legs. And I promise you, I’ll come running.” She exhales a shaky breath. I know I’ve won for today.

“Alright, Doc. Have a good class. See you Wednesday.” I grab my things and leave her office. She doesn’t follow. She probably needs a minute to collect herself after my little speech.

I get why she’s cautious, and I respect it. I do. But my head is telling me one thing, and my heart and my dick are telling me another. It’s two against one, so guess who wins.

I walk out of the building and to the parking lot where my Jeep is parked. I’m done with classes for the day, so I head home.

Ozzy is home, so I convince him to chill in the pool for a bit. He’s got a big fight coming up on Halloween, and I think he’s stressing about it. It’s weird because he’s undefeated and the best fighter I’ve ever seen. I also haven’t seen him hooking up with any chicks recently, so maybe that’s why he’s all uptight. He probably just needs to get his dick wet.

I don’t want to ask him about it, though, because I have a feeling he’ll question me right back. I haven’t brought any girls home all semester, which is unusual for me. My balls are literally screaming at me, but I can’t picture hooking up with anyone except Hazel. And I know if I actually went through with it, Hazel would lose all her trust in me. So, it’s just me and my right hand until Hazel stops being so damn stubborn.

Ozzy swims some laps while I hang off the edge of the pool. I freaking love that this house has a pool. It was a gem of a find, and I’m glad my parents swooped it up for us when they did.

I grab my phone and snap a quick selfie. My hair is wet and slicked back, with a few strands falling in my face. I get my bare chest in the picture because I know how much Hazel likes it. I think there are some other places of mine she might like too, but I’m not in the business of sending unsolicited dick pics.

I quickly send her the picture.

Wes: Missing you. <3

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

HAZEL

If I’ve learned anything about Wes Mitchell, it’s that he’s a man of his word.

Like clockwork, he’s sitting outside my office to wait for his one-on-one time with me on Wednesday.

He patiently lets all the other students ask their questions first. When no one else in the hallway, he stands up and walks into my office.
