Maybe I’m what she needs after all. Maybe I’m what she’s looking for, and she just doesn’t know
it.
Chapter 5
Celine
W ho in the world is knocking on my door at this godawful time of the morning?
I barely crack an eye open before Stella barges into my room.
“Wakey, wakey,” she says in a way too cheerful tone.
“Why are you up so early?” I ask her, my voice full of sleep.
“Um, it’s almost ten. Not all that early,” she jokes. “And it’s wedding day!” She is way too
excited about all of this and sounds almost giddy.
“It’s not my wedding day. Why do I have to get up so early?”
“I will never understand how you can sleep so long. Anyway, you have to get up. We have to go

change out of my pajama shirt into a long T-shirt and leggings. I already have my stuff for the wedding
together since I knew we would all be getting ready together. I just didn’t know the details. Like how
early I needed to wake up. I knew Stella would get my ass in gear whenever we had to go.
I grab the bag with my dress and shoes, and we head downstairs.
I find my one lonely chicken biscuit sitting on the kitchen counter. I look over at Ozzy, sitting at the
table with Ezra. “You trying to eat my biscuit, bro?”
He raises his eyebrows at me. “The thought had crossed my mind,” he says slowly.
“You little shit.” I take a huge bite without breaking eye contact with Ozzy. I sit down next to Ezra
