I don’t.

I mean, I guess I’m curious, but it can’t happen.

Never.

Once that’s settled in my mind, I have to look away even though I know he’s found me. I can feel

his eyes on me, and it makes me sit up a little straighter.

Thankfully, the music starts, and the doors open. I watch as my best friend and Hazel’s sister walk

down the aisle in their gorgeous purple dresses. Stella has a huge smile plastered on her face, and her

eyes remain locked on Ozzy, who looks like a completely different person all dressed up in a suit.

I wonder if Stella is imagining what her own wedding will be like. Ozzy hasn’t proposed or

anything, but we all know they’re going to be together forever. It’s only a matter of time before he puts

a ring on it.

throw them until she gets down to the altar and dumps all the petals into a pile. Everyone in the church

laughs.

instead of the gorgeous bride walking down the aisle.

Maybe I’m making it up in my head because I’m horny.

The ceremony is beautiful and, thankfully, pretty quick. Before I know it, Wes has kissed his

bride, and they’re retreating out of the church.

I watch as Ezra links arms with Hazel's sister, Anna, and they walk down the aisle together. I hate

the way my stomach tightens seeing his arm linked with another woman. A woman I know is happily

married with kids.

I need to get to the reception and get some champagne ASAP. I am not used to these feelings, and

I’m very ready to drink them away.

Chapter 6

Ezra

I ’m sure the ceremony was beautiful, but I couldn’t take my eyes off Celine. She looks absolutely
