Chapter 13

Celine

T he drive back to Brunswick isn’t too bad. Probably because I feel so dang happy. The past

twenty-four hours have been a whirlwind. I went from missing the hell out of my best friend to

him completely wrecking my body. I can still feel the tenderness between my legs.

I can’t wait to talk to Stella about everything that happened. I texted her when I got to Ezra’s last

night, but I haven’t had a chance to text again since everything else happened.

I pull up to our gorgeous house at the end of Rage Road. I only have a few more weeks until I

graduate, so I assume I only have a few more weeks in this house, too. It makes me so sad that

everything is changing, but I know I really need to figure out what the hell I’m going to do after I

graduate. I’ve got to grow up at some point.

Both Ozzy and Stella’s cars are in the driveway, so I know they’re home. Hopefully, they aren’t

indisposed because I need to talk to Stella as soon as possible. I’m basically bursting at the seams to

tell her everything.

I walk inside and find them on the couch. Stella’s legs are laying across Ozzy’s lap, and he’s

massaging her feet. I don’t know how these two ended up domesticated, but it makes me so happy for

them. I don’t want anything like that, but, you know, it’s good for them.

“Hey,” Stella says, sitting up as soon as she sees me. I can’t stop the smile from spreading across

my face. I don’t even have to say anything. Sella just knows. She gasps, and her mouth falls open.

“Did you…?” she asks, eyes wide.

I nod. “Yes.” I basically squeal. That’s how freaking giddy I am right now.

“Oh my God. You have to tell me everything,” Stella says, clasping her hands to her chest.

“What’s going on?” Ozzy asks.

“Celine hooked up with Ezra,” Stella informs him. He winces.

“Yeah, I’m gonna go,” he says, getting up from his spot on the couch.

“You don’t want the dirty details, Oz?” I ask, teasing him.

“Um, no. I’d rather not hear how my best friend fucks. Thanks, though.” I laugh, and he walks past

me, quickly heading upstairs to their room.
