I want to take my time with her, but it's hard to control myself when it feels this damn good. I go back and forth between wanting to come and staying inside her for as long as possible. Between my fingers and my cock, it doesn’t take long to make her come again. Her head lolls forward as she tries to stay silent through her orgasm. I grip her waist harder to pull her upright.
After she comes back down, I pull out of her and grip myself to hold off my orgasm. “Get on your knees for me, Sunshine.”
She pushes off the railing and gets to her knees without question. Her eyes are hooded and a little glazed. “Now, open that pretty little mouth.”
I jerk myself a few times before my cum shoots into her mouth. She keeps her mouth open wide for every drop. Her blue eyes stay trained on mine as she finally closes her mouth and swallows me down.
Holy shit.
Honestly, it wouldn’t have surprised me if she had spit it out. I actually kind of expected it. Instead, she swallowed every damn drop.
She’s always been the quiet girl. A little innocent. But she keeps surprising me around every corner. Or maybe I’ve been underestimating her.
I reach out a hand to help her stand and usher her into the room, shutting the balcony door behind me. She throws on a T-shirt, and I grab some shorts. She moves to get into her bed, but I grab her arm. “Sleep with me. Come on, we’ve already broken rule number one.”
She looks at me like she’s going to protest, but she turns to my bed, pulls back the blanket, and gets in. I get the biggest smile as I practically jump in beside her. This woman makes me giddy as fuck. It’s absolutely pathetic, and I give zero fucks.
I snuggle in behind her, getting as close to her as possible, and drift off to sleep to the soft sounds of her breathing.
CHAPTER 17
Summer
I’ve gotten used to waking up with him, which scares the shit out of me.
I cannot get attached to Hawke. I can’t do it. Sure, right now he’s perfect—gorgeous and great in bed but also so supportive and sweet. He’s thoughtful. He does the small stuff that most of my exes didn’t even consider. I mean, he’s liked every single social media post and story that I’ve posted since we’ve been here. Not that I’m checking or anything. Ok, I am. But how cute is that?
Maybe I’m reading too much into it. Maybe I want Hawke to seem like the perfect man. Am I punishing myself because I know I can’t have him? He lives on the opposite side of the country. He doesn’t do relationships, and I’m definitely a relationship person. Which is ironic since I travel so much that it’s nearly impossible to have a serious relationship. We’re just too different. It would never work between us.
And most importantly, I have to keep reminding myself that he’s my ex-boyfriend’s brother. Even if I wanted Hawke, I couldn’t do that to their family. I know Holden has moved on, but he would feel betrayed if he knew what Hawke and I have been doing. He’d be mad at me, yes. But he’d be more upset with Hawke. And I can’t be the reason they argue. I won’t do that to them.
Lying in his arms a few days after the vow renewal, I decide it’s best to keep our alone time minimal. That’s my thought, anyway, to keep myself busy. That shouldn’t be too hard.
I’ve planned a day of jet skiing and shopping in downtown Cancun. Of course, Hawke invited himself along and invited Holden and Carly.
Which is fine. The more, the merrier, especially since I’m trying to put space between Hawke and me.
The “space” I wanted flies out the window when I realize we’re only getting two jet skis for four people. We strap our life vests on, and the guy at the water sports stand gives us a rundown on how to work the jet ski. He hands us the keys and tells us to have fun.
Holden and Carly head toward one jet ski leaving me and Hawke by the other. “You and me, Sunshine.” He starts pushing the machine toward the ocean.
“Of course it is,” I mumble under my breath. Nothing like pressing our wet bodies against each other for space.
When we’re in the water, he turns to me with the smile that makes me want to melt. “You driving?”
“Hell, yes, I am.” He tosses me the keys, and I slide on the front. He scoots close behind me, and I immediately want to lean into his body, but we’re in Holden and Carly’s line of sight. I wouldn’t want to look suspicious, so I keep my body forward.
We take off slowly until we hit deeper water. I waste no time in taking off, racing around. I love the feeling of the wind blowing in my face. The open ocean. The bright blue sky overhead and the sun beating down on me. It’s euphoric.
Speeding around like this makes me feel like a little kid again. That feeling is intensified because I’m doing it with Hawke and Holden. It’s like the three musketeers are back together again. Holden is driving next to us and laughing right along with us. Poor Carly is holding onto him for dear life. I feel a teeny bit bad for her.
“Race ya to that hotel?” Holden calls out to us as he points to a hotel up the beach.
“You’re on!” I yell back as we both take off.
Hawke chuckles in my ear when I fly over a wave. He tightens his grip around my waist and leans down to whisper in my ear. “You’re fucking perfect, Summer.”
I don’t respond. I can’t. The words just won’t come. I can’t be perfect for him. So I pick up the speed and jump another wave, almost throwing us both off but making us laugh.
