“Still, I should’ve asked you first.”
“I would’ve said yes. I like there being nothing between us,” I tell him.
He looks down in between my legs where his release is trickling out of me. He takes two fingers and gently presses his cum back inside. “I like seeing this.”
My face heats at the thought of what it must look like, but if Beck likes it, then I guess I do too.
“Come on, let’s get you cleaned up.”
He helps me off the bed and into his bathroom. I use the toilet quickly while he gets the shower started. We climb in together and let the warm water rinse over both of us.
“Sorry, I only have manly scented body wash,” Beck says as he picks up the bottle.
“That’s alright. I don’t mind smelling like you.”
The corner of his mouth tips up in a smile, and I can tell he likes the idea of me smelling like him. I think he’s trying not to be too possessive for my sake, but I wish he would let it show. I want nothing more than to be his.
He rubs the body wash all over me, making sure to clean every inch. Then he washes my hair, which feels so nice. I’ve been running around all week in Italy trying to finish exams and get packed, so showers were quick and never satisfying. Beck takes his time, massaging my head and taking the shower head off the hook to make sure he rinses me thoroughly.
By the time we’re both washed up and dried, the jet lag officially hits me. I’m exhausted. Between the long flight, the drive to Blue Haven, the full day with Beck and Jade, and then the orgasms, I feel like I’m about to crash.
Beck must notice because he finds one of his shirts in his dresser and pulls it over my head before he pulls the covers back.
“Get in. You need sleep. I’ll get your phone charger and some water for you. You just go to bed.”
“Thanks, Beck.”
When I climb into his bed this time, I know I won’t be running out in the middle of the night. He tucks me in and then gently kisses my lips.
“Willow?”
“Hmm?”
“I’m so glad you’re here.”
“Me too.”
“Sleep good, baby. I love you.” He’s told me he loves me every time we got off the phone, but nothing compared to hearing him say it in person.
“I love you too.”
With one more kiss on my forehead, he leaves me to fall asleep.
I wake up extra early the next morning. I blame the jet lag. My body is still on European time. But I’m glad I’m up early. It gives me a chance to catch my breath from the whirlwind of the last forty-eight hours. I was so nervous to come back to Blue Haven. I was especially nervous about showing up on Beck’s doorstep. We talked about me coming here next week when I was originally planning to come home, so I knew he wanted me here. But I think deep down, I was worried he would see me and tell me to leave. That I wasn’t worth it or that he’d changed his mind.
I was so relieved when I saw him smile as he realized it was me standing on his front porch. He kissed me immediately. No questions asked. He wants this just as much as I do. I’m sure of it now.
If only we could get Sawyer on our team. Sawyer and I have talked at least once a week. It’s strained to say the least, and Beck has not come up in conversation once since our initial discussion about it. I only know from Beck that he and Sawyer haven’t spoken since the night everything came out.
I hate that I came between their friendship. I’m hoping that we can all work through it during the few weeks I’m home before spring semester.
But right now, all that matters is the sleeping man beside me. His arm is draped over my body, and I’m pretty sure it’s been like that all night. He looks so peaceful in his sleep. The most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. So beautiful that I can’t help but reach out and lightly touch his face. His eyes flutter open.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you,” I whisper.
In response, he just pulls me closer. So close I have to slide one of my legs over his waist.
“Don’t ever leave me,” he says muffled into his pillow.
