But that doesn’t solve my current problem.

Closing my eyes, I slip my hand into my sleep shorts, mildly annoyed that I don’t get the reward that I was promised in my dream. Kieran’s tongue is magic, and I’m desperate for it.

I replay the dream in my mind, swiping my fingers over my clit, but it only takes a few minutes for me to realize this isn’t going to work. It’s nowhere near as satisfying as it would be with him.

I forgot how often you need to come.

Always pushed me too far when you needed me to put you in your place.

The words from the other night come back to me, only making me want him more. I try to ignore it, thinking that I won’t be the one to initiate this. He teased me on the patio. He sat across from me at dinner and provoked me. He should be the one giving me relief.

Wait. No. That wasn’t the point I was trying to make.

But now it’s the only one I can think of. Because he should be fixing the very problem he caused.

Without even trying to talk myself out of it, I flip back the blankets and climb out of the bed. It’s late enough that I’m hoping I don’t run into anyone else in the house as I yank open the door. But I startle as soon as I step outside.

“Eden?”

I slam back into the door behind me before I take in the hazel eyes and bright smile that have become so familiar. “Ash,” I breathe.

She cocks her head as she takes me in. “Where are you storming off to so late?

I glance away, feeling less resolute in my decision. I hadn’t even thought about someone guarding my door. At least it’s not Till. “I couldn’t sleep.”

I can feel her eyes on me, and I make the mistake of looking over. Her grin is all too knowing. “Oh really?”

Normally, I like Ash. Till is too strict, and Gale is sweet but quiet. Ash knows how to have fun—and get into trouble. She’s even spent some afternoons with me and Mika.

That doesn’t mean I want to tell her this.

She leans in, dropping her voice. “He should be in his room. Need directions?”

I huff and roll my eyes. “No. I know where it is.”

“Should I stay here?”

I can’t even be annoyed when she looks so fucking amused. “Probably not,” I mutter before turning away, heading down the hall.

Behind me, Ash is laughing. Hard. I lift a hand and flip her off, just for her to laugh harder.

Crossing my arms across my chest—because I didn’t grab anything to cover up with—I try to go as undetected as possible the rest of the way to Kieran’s room. Thankfully, I’ve only seen two more guards who immediately look the other way by the time I turn down the hall on the opposite side of the house.

When I reach Kieran’s room, though, I hesitate. Should I knock? Is he asleep?

But then I remember him pinning me against the wall and practically begging me to admit I wanted him to make me come, and I shove the door open. I don’t second guess the decision as I step into his room, even as Kieran jerks upright in bed.

My eyes roam over his chest, the light from the hall letting me see the defined muscles of his chest and the thin white scars that decorate his fair skin. He’s gorgeous.

“Eden?” His voice is rough with sleep, and I push the door shut behind me.

Crossing the room, my body starts to hum again, clearly ready for what Kieran can give me. And the way he drinks me in as he shifts, his eyes dragging slowly down my body, only adds to it.

“What are you doing?” His accent is just as thick as it was in my dream, and that shouldn’t be the turn on it is.

“You waited too long again.” In one fluid motion, I pull my shirt over my head.

If I had any reservations left, Kieran eviscerates them with a sexy as fuck groan. His gaze is hooded when it meets mine again. “You need an orgasm, wife?”
