“Are you ready to go home? Do you need your husband’s cock, Eden?”
I might have to carry her out of here given how boneless she is in my arms right now. Lust paints her expression, and she’s so needy, I half expect her to straddle me here.
We both watch as Caius slices through the fighter’s throat, blood spilling out and pooling under him. I’m not even sure he was still alive, but there’s no doubt he’s dead now.
Eden’s head whips toward me as Caius stands, pupils blown wide and skin flushed. “Take me home.”
CHAPTER 22
EDEN
Idon’t remember getting in the car. My mind is hazed over, and my skin is overheated. I try to fucking breathe, but Kieran’s presence is overwhelming me as his hand smooths up my thigh.
When he told me he was taking me somewhere tonight, I hadn’t expected the cages. I recognized it from the pictures, but being there in person pulled a visceral reaction out of me. The second we stepped inside, my body started humming with adrenaline and excitement, and the sight of the mats made me reach for my blade. All the bloodshed had me wanting to find my own challenge.
But sitting in Kieran’s lap while watching it? I’ve never been more turned on.
Especially not with his hands all over me, his lips on my neck, and his husky voice in my ear. He painted the most erotic pictures, and I don’t care if I shouldn’t want to ride him after watching such a gruesome death—I still do.
Jude’s eyes keep flicking up to look at Kieran in the mirror as he drives up the mountain. But Kieran hasn’t tried anything with me more than his fingers edging closer and closer to my center. It’s driving me mad, and I’m trying to hold it together—and failing.
The tension is thick in the car, and I tremble when Kieran leans over to brush his lips against my ear. “Be thinking about how you want me to fuck you. If you ask nicely, I just might give it to you.”
“Kieran,” Jude growls, and Kieran sighs as he pulls away.
“I wasn’t doing anything.”
“I don’t fucking believe you.”
Kieran’s eyes narrow. “I should have Till take us from now on. He knows he can’t give me commands.”
Jude turns around the last curve, the houses coming into view. “Please fucking do,” he mutters, pulling into Kieran’s garage. He’s out of the car as soon as it’s off, pulling open Kieran’s door. “Now get out.”
Kieran smirks up at him, and I half expect him to argue with Jude. I’ve learned that it’s Kieran’s love language—pissing off the people he cares about. I’m not sure what that says about me.
But then his green eyes look back at me, heat simmering in them, and he steps out of the vehicle. His movements are so smooth that I get fucking turned on watching the man stand up and straighten his shirt.
I slide out after him, not quite hearing whatever he says to Jude, but it has the other man nodding. All traces of his earlier anger are gone, and when he looks at me, those ice blue eyes aren’t so cold. He offers me a twitch of his lips and a nod before heading toward the side door that will lead back down to his house.
Because I’m watching Jude, I don’t even realize that Kieran is moving until he’s already picked me up. I yelp as he throws me over his shoulder, arm wrapped around the back of my thighs.
“Kieran!” I debate twisting to wrap my legs around his throat. My fighting instincts have become more prominent lately, and he’s playing with fire.
Then again, I think he likes it.
His other hand smacks my ass as he steps inside. “You weren’t moving fast enough.”
I lean forward, trying to shift my hips up on his shoulder so I can choke the bastard with my legs. “Put. Me—” I gasp as he drops me to my feet, grabs both my wrists, and pins them above my head. The last word comes out pathetically quiet. “Down.”
Kieran grins, and it’s enough for me to forgive him for carrying me inside. I’m too desperate for relief to push him right now because he’ll drag it out, and I can’t take it.
“I love when you’re like this, wife.” He steps closer, dragging his nose down my cheek. The light scruff scratching against my skin has my body igniting. “When you’re so fucking needy for me that you’ll take anything I give you.”
My chest heaves as I suck in breath, every part of my body on fire. I’m so eager for him that I can’t do anything but nod. “I need it.”
His cockiness is annoyingly attractive, just like that thick accent as his voice drops lower. “You need what, Eden?”
“My husband’s cock.”
