They arrived one by one and quietly took a seat, not making a sound. Zero was the last to arrive. Opening my hand, I showed him what Newby had found. His eyes widened. He held up a finger and left as quickly as he’d arrived.

I was aware that my brothers were watching and waiting. Anger still roiled inside me. I knew I’d have to release it soon before I exploded, but it would have to wait.

Zero hurried back into the room and secured the door behind him. He opened a Faraday box and motioned for me to drop the bug inside. I waited as he used a wand to sweep for bugs. Picking up a nearby pen and notepad, I wrote a message and held it up for him.

Do everyone’s cuts, starting with mine.

The brothers grunted and cursed. Zero nodded and did as I asked. My cut was now clean, but more bugs were found on Lawless, Lurch, Bet, and Midnight.

Once Zero had them all in the box, he gave me a nod, and I turned to my brothers.

“I want to know who, and I want to know how. I think it’s fair to say we’ve got a mole.”

“Fuck,” Lawless exploded.

I looked at our tech expert. “Zero, can you give me any information about them?”

“Yeah, Pres. They’re top of the range. Military grade. Easy to miss because they're so small. Tech the ATF would have access to.”

“Fucking hell!” I pushed back from the table. “They’ve fucking heard everything we’ve spoken about for who the fuck knows how long. They know about our clients, the fights, Juju, and her family.”

I was so angry I could barely think. Then I recalled my call with Banshee. “Zero, check my office. I was on the phone with Banshee.”

“Gotcha, Pres.” Zero stood and left the room.

“This is bad, Pres,” River muttered.

“No fucking shit,” I ground out. “They heard everything, River. Juju’s now in the crosshairs.”

Lurch stood, resting his hands on my shoulders. I relaxed instantly. None of us spoke about it, but Lurch was uncannily good at calming a situation.

“We’ll figure it out, Glacier. This room is clean. Fill us in on what Banshee wants while we wait for Zero.” Lawless said.

“Fuck.” I scraped my hands over my face as I sat down and filled them in on my discussion with Banshee.

“Okay.” Lawless stared up at the ceiling, rubbing his jaw. “They don’t know we’ve found all the bugs. We kept quiet while Zero was looking.”

He waved a hand between Lurch, me, and himself. “How about this? The three of us will handle the delivery to Banshee. River, Bet, Midnight, and Mystery will make a dummy delivery to a client’s warehouse. We’ll set it up while the bugs are still active and have the ATF follow them.”

He leaned forward, his voice steady. “There’ll be nothing on them, but it’ll keep the ATF busy. Meanwhile, Juju’s family will handle the last delivery of the year.” He glanced between us. “Our boys lead the ATF on a wild goose chase, and we find out what Banshee wants.”

He looked around the room, drumming his fingers on the chair arm as if waiting for us to dispute his idea.

We didn’t because his plan was sound.

“Lurch, what do you think?” I asked.

“I don’t know, Glacier.” He ran an agitated hand over his bald head. “It’s a good plan, and it could work. Let’s go over it in more detail.”

“Agree—”

The door opened, and Zero walked in.

“All clear, Pres. I checked all the main rooms. Found a couple in the common room and one in the men’s bathroom, but otherwise, we’re clear for now.” He paused, then added, “I’ll go through each brother’s room, the kitchen, and your houses when we’re done.”

I let out a relieved breath. “Thanks, brother. Appreciate it.” I waved at the table for him to take a seat. “Let’s bring you up to speed. We’ve got a plan.”

We spent the next few hours hashing out the plan and tightening every detail until it felt solid. By the end of the meeting, I thought it might actually work.
