I glance back at him over my shoulder.
“Still think I’m leaving?”
His grip tightens.
“You’re not going anywhere.”
My heart kicks hard.
“That sounds like an order.”
“It is.”
“And if I argue?”
His mouth brushes my ear.
“You can try.”
I smile.
“That confident?”
His hand settles firmly at my hip.
“You came into my cabin.”
His mouth moves along my neck.
“You climbed into my bed.”
Another kiss.
“You gave yourself to me.”
His voice drops.
“And now you’re standing in our home telling me you might leave.”
He turns my face toward him.
“Not happening.”
My breath catches.
“Our home?”
His eyes lock on mine.
“Ours.”
