BLAOW!
“I don’t give a fuck what you love,” she scoffed, disgusted that he was about to repeat what she told his ass to say in the first place.
The love was muffled because the gun was in his mouth before she pulled the trigger. My ears were ringing, meanwhile Menace and Kora were closer, and were unphased. They both looked at his body and then looked at each other.
“Meer, handle your business,” Corleon nodded.
I watched as Menace and Kora did a handshake before she winked at me and headed out the room.
And like that, she was gone.
“Bruster, now make the city fucking dark. I don’t want a single light on.”
Corleon looked up from the computer. “Soon. Found the invitation to the society ball… paying them a visit?”
“I mean, they busted up our party, only fair to return the favor.”
Cappadonna came through the door with his twin and Quasim behind him. “If you need your suits fitted, let me know… I know a guy.”
“I’m surprised this nigga didn’t say he would do it,” I mumbled.
“Nah, I own the shop… under normal circumstances, I would have done it, but you know… pressing issues at hand.”
“Capp, I’m starting to believe that you believe this shit.” Capone chuckled, as he walked over toward his other brother and dapped him up. “What up, Core?”
“Ain’t shit but the sky.”
Capone squeezed his brother’s shoulder while he continued on the computer. “Smooth ass nigga.”
“You good though, Capo?”
“I have my days, but a nigga still living to complain, right?”
Corleon nodded. “I hear you… Long as yo’ ass here to keep complaining.”
Capone chuckled, and squeezed his shoulder again, before sitting on the other end of the desk, watching whatever he was doing.
While Corleon was showing Capone something, Menace was standing over Castello, admiring his work. His brains and blood were all over his white t-shirt and had been on Kora before she left.
Neither of them acted like it mattered.
I understood though. The minute you went there, you didn’t give a fuck about what was going on, or what you had on you. When I hacked buddy’s ass up with that machete, I didn’t give a fuck about the blood or the mess that it made.
While everyone was in their own world, I watched Meer as the nigga gracefully made his way around the room. At one point, his ass was acting like Q-Tip in the movie Prison Song, using his hand as a damn camera lens, picturing the perfect set up for a fire.
When he climbed up on the bed, and stepped over Castello, I turned to his brother, who stood there coolly, like his brother wasn’t a pyromaniac.
“Papa and Mina never thought to get him checked?”
Quasim smirked. “Moms is a little bit of a pyro, too… you see his face.”
“You fucked up.” I started laughing because at the exact moment Quasim said it, this nigga Meer started flicking his lighter in deep thought.
“I requested three additional tickets to the email that sent the invitation. At this point, I’m just fishing because once news hits that Castello is dead, they will change locations.” Core explained.
Menace snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Core. “Niggas wanted to see me. Time to pay ‘em a visit.”
It made sense for Menace to go; they didn’t know what he looked like.
