We settle ourselves on the sand. Thankfully, it’s overcast today, and the sand isn’t scorching hot.

“How are you? Any gossip?” I ask Chris before taking a sip of my latte.

“Nope, not really. Same old, same old,” she replies, opening the magazine and burying her nose between the pages. “Today’s classes were torture. How can psychology be such a boring ass major?”

“Oh, come on. You love it,” I say with a chuckle.

She looks up at me and grins. “I do. What about you?” she asks. “Have you caught any more men in your web?”

“You mean because I’m a spider?” I quip, smirking.

“A black widow, yes,” she teases.

“I’m not! I don’t kill men that have sex with me,” I retort.

She smirks. “No, they die beforehand of a broken heart because they never got a chance to even be in your bed.”

“Oh, shut up,” I say, snickering.

I consider confiding in Chris about my recent night with the twins and ultimately decide to trust her.

“Actually, two of them made it into my bed,” I say, shaking my latte, loving how the ice sounds, while Chris nearly spits out her coffee in surprise.

“Which two? Oh no, don’t tell me. I bet it was the twins, those lucky bastards,” she guesses.

I just chuckle in response.

“How was it? Did you have both at the same time, or same hole?” she asks, causing me to hiss at her.

“Chris!” I exclaim.

“What? I mean, you have three holes, so there would be space for one more,” she points out. “I already thought about the logistics of having all four of them in bed with you, but they’re like my brothers, so I was grossed out and stopped thinking about their dicks.” I can’t help but bark out a laugh.

“How considerate of you,” I say sarcastically, and she grins in response.

“I know, I’m the best,” she retorts, and I shake my head.

“Yes, it was both of them, but we didn’t have sex,” I tell her, and she raises an eyebrow.

“Oh, I see. And what did you do then?” she asks, and I shrug.

“They wanted to make me feel good, so I let them,” I say, blushing.

“Oh my god! How was it?” she asks.

“It was good. They’re both such good kissers, and let’s just say Ryder knows what he’s doing,” I say, and Chris smirks.

“And?” she asks, and I roll my eyes.

“And what?”

“And was it earth-shattering?”

I sigh. “Yes, Chris. It was mind-blowing. Happy now?”

“Finally!” she exclaims, setting the magazine on her lap and throwing her hands up in the air. “Took you long enough. And what about River? Is he any good with his tongue?”

I glare at her. “I’m not having this conversation with you.”
