“Yes, they should,” Parker confirmed. “Come, brat.”

The walk out to the parking lot was silent and tense with possibility. Parker led the way without a single glance backward.

Ben took up the rear, like he was guarding against Dakota’s escape. When Dakota slowed at the door, he crowded against them, his muscular body making them feel small.

They were in heaven.

Ben and Parker seemed to know each other well enough that they needed no discussion to plan the evening. Parker stopped in front of a shiny, black car that even Dakota, who was oblivious to vehicles, could tell was expensive, sexy, and fast.

But it was Ben who beeped it open and swung himself into the driver’s seat, while Parker crowded Dakota into the back. This was every fantasy come true.

In the car, Dakota had leaned toward Parker, hoping to get things started a little sooner. But Ben just glared at them from the rearview mirror and said, “Settle, brat.”

Dakota put on their seat belt. They didn’t want to actually be bad. Well, not that bad.

The anticipation was killing them.

No one spoke as Ben drove through the unfamiliar streets. It looked like Ben and Parker were both doing some deep thinking, which matched their guess that they hadn’t hooked up with each other before.

But the silence was starting to make Dakota nervous.

What did they really know about these guys? Where were they going? They were clearly still downtown, but Dakota was too new to the city to have any idea of where they’d gone.

What if they actually were upset about their little trick, and not just pretending? It wasn’t like there’d been any money involved, but it must have been humiliating. And misleading someone was a shitty way to introduce yourself. Were they in over their head?

Even if all of them were mostly on the same page, they hadn’t talked about boundaries or safe words or anything. Should they bring it up? Of course they should. But it wasn’t easy to be the first one. Dakota felt their confidence start to shatter.

Then, they felt Parker’s soft fingers brushing their hair around the curve of their ear. “We’ve got you, pet. This is only good for us if it’s good for you.”

Dakota sighed in relief. “Thank you,” they whispered.

Ben spoke up from the front seat. “You should never need to thank a Dom for making sure that you’re OK. That was our fault for not communicating more.”

“It was kinda hot the way that we just walked out of there, though.”

That brought a smile to both men’s faces.

“Get your phone out, pet, and text a friend so that someone knows where you are.”

“Oh, right.” Dakota dug out their phone.

Parker dictated both of their first and last names and then Parker gave an address.

“That’s Ben’s house?”

“Nope,” answered Parker. “It’s mine. Ben lives way out in the ‘burbs.”

That seemed to be an ongoing point of contention between them, since Ben rolled his eyes.

“So, you just decided to drive to Parker’s house and knew that he’d be OK with it? Do you guys do this all the time?”

They both shook their heads. “You’re the first and only, pet,” Parker said softly.

Wow. Like, really. Wow.

They pulled up to a sleek condo and Ben calmly entered a security code, slid into the garage, and parked in a numbered spot.

“Um, you’ve seriously never done this before?”
