Inner boy: 1, Professionalism: 0. God, he was an idiot around Saul.

“I think you need dinner to sustain you.” That was stern Daddy.

Oh, hell yes. With that voice, if Daddy wanted him to eat dinner, he would lick his plate clean.

“I mean, um, it’s on the company. When you work weekends.”

Sure it was. Daddy was buying him dinner.

And was Saul blushing now? A shy Daddy was kind of adorable. He didn’t think he’d ever seen Saul nervous before.

Had he made Saul nervous? It didn’t seem possible. Nothing fazed Saul. They’d found an employee stealing money from the company and Saul had narrowed his eyebrows and bit out a few terse instructions. They’d been hit with some bad press when someone using their app made a bad choice, and his eyes had widened before he set up all the calls he had to make. And talking about kinks, like whether spanking should be categorized under impact play or get its own header, was daily business.

Yet Saul was definitely blushing.

He stepped in close, letting his excitement show. “What did you bring me?”

Saul shrugged, but his eyes said something different. “Peppermint? I know you like those sugary drinks, so I hoped this might be OK.”

“Ooh! That’s not peppermint. It’s candy cane. You guessed my favorite! Yes, please.” Levi made grabby hands.

Saul made the lovey Daddy face, smiling like giving Levi the drink had made his day.

Levi carefully cupped it to his chest, bent his head, and said, “Thank you, Saul,” in his sweetest voice.

Saul’s voice was rough and the pink in his cheeks deepened when he finally managed to grunt out a “you’re welcome.”

Out of all the crappy holiday drinks out there, Saul had picked the good one. He couldn’t think of a clearer sign than that.

Daddy clearly knew what Levi needed. Daddy wanted to give it to him.

And the office was still empty except for the two of them.

What could he do to make Saul’s eyes light up again?

The coffee was definitely still too hot to drink, but he pressed it to his lips, tilted it back, and closed his eyes in ecstasy. OK, so maybe that was a little over the top. But it smelled divine, and if he were really drinking it that’s exactly what he would do.

He hummed his appreciation deep in his chest as he met Saul’s eyes. Dark and striking, they looked like they wanted to devour him. Dirty Daddy.

Hell yeah.

He knew that he was playing with fire, but couldn’t he have this one little thing? Just one evening pretending that he had a Daddy who wanted to take care of him? He felt pretty certain now that Saul would indulge him as long as he didn’t cross any lines.

They’d been subtly flirting for months. Or maybe not-so-subtly, since Christy had picked up on it. But she knew him.

This could just be an extension of that. A little more flirting. A little more time together. It didn’t have to be a Hallmark movie or a porn video, but if Levi could just soak up a little bit more of Saul’s attention, he’d take every bit of it. There was no one here to see them after all.

The only problem, as he saw it, was that Saul was a good guy: scrupulous, responsible, head of the company. If he hit on Levi, it would probably be sexual harassment or something since he was in a position of power.

Of course, that position of power thing was a whole fantasy in itself, being called into Saul’s office and bent over his desk... But that wasn’t very helpful right now.

In reality, even if Saul was thinking the same dirty thoughts, he would probably be too moral to act on them.

So Levi would have to give Daddy a little nudge. Just a tiny one.

“I need a change of scenery,” he declared. “And I’m bored. Wanna hang out in one of the conference rooms? Ooh! Or could I work in your office? That has the best view.”

Saul’s eyes widened, then the broody eyebrows were back. “Um, sure. I’ll, uh, make sure the table’s cleared off.” Saul turned to go.
