“Holy shit. I should have convinced you to hook up with the CEO sooner.”

“I know, right? So, tell me all of your big plans for Nikhil. I know you have them.”

For once, Christy’s usually cheerful voice was subdued. “I dunno. I mean… I never expected this to happen. We joke about it, but what if he’s not interested? I mean, all I’m going on is his Cuffd profile from, like, three years ago. And he hasn’t dated anyone in all that time. I don’t even think he’s played casually.”

Levi knew all of that. Probably even a bit more than Christy did, though he’d never break Nikhil’s confidence. It only convinced him further that Christy was his perfect match. She just needed a pep talk.

“Babe, he wants you. He watches you all the time. I bet he gets hard every time you challenge him in a meeting. Plus, he’s a service sub. Preferably with a side of humiliation. Just ambush him at the airport and tell him he’s coming home with you.”

“Ha. I’ll think about it. I just… don’t want to mess it up.” She sounded really serious. Over the years, he’d heard her worried, but this was a whole new level. As her best friend, he wasn’t going to let her hold back. They supported each other this way.

“You won’t. I know he’s shy. And I agree that his last Domme probably fucked him over somehow.” In fact, he knew she did, though Christy had figured that out all on her own. “But you’ll get it right. He needs structure.” If anyone knew what that felt like, Levi did. “Be aggressive. Go out and claim him. Then get him all embarrassed and don’t let him come for a week. It’ll be perfect.”

“I’ll think about it.” There was a long pause, but it sounded like she was about to say something else. Instead, all he got was a blatant topic change. “Speaking of not coming, when do you see Daddy again?”

“I’m not letting this go, you know.” He really wanted her to be happy as he was, but he could accept that she needed some time to think.

One topic change coming up. “But I don’t mind talking about my favorite topic in the universe if you want to listen. So… we didn’t exactly plan anything. I kind of thought he’d tell me. I mean, do you think I can call him? I wanted to this morning, but I wasn’t sure.”

“So you woke me up instead?” Now cheerful Christy was back. They could dive into the heavy stuff later.

“Yeah, ’cause you’re my bestie. And I was going to call you anyway. So, do you think I should call him?”

“I can’t even believe he let you out of his sight. Unless he said he was busy, he wants you to call.”

“I shouldn’t, like, give him some space or anything? I won’t be too greedy?”

“Remember what I said? Let Daddy set the limits.”

“Right. Right! OMG I have a Daddy!” He was the happiest boy in the world, and soon Christy would be this happy, too.

“Bye, Levi.” He could almost see her rolling her eyes, but she said it fondly.

“Bye!”

Levi ended the call and then stared at his phone. Would Saul really want a call from him? Was it too early? Not just too early in the morning, but too soon? It had hardly been twelve hours since they’d seen each other.

Also, Saul had said pretty clearly that he didn’t know how to be a Daddy. Did that mean he didn’t want to be a Daddy?

No, he’d said he would be honored to be Levi’s Daddy. Levi had to trust that.

He found the number in his phone and changed the details from Saul Kauffman to Daddy. There. Much better.

Holding his breath, he pressed the call button. It rang.

And rang.

Should he leave a message? Call back? Text?

“Hey baby.” Saul’s warm voice filled his ear.

The seductive welcome was all he needed for his enthusiasm to break free. “Daddy!”

“Good morning. You sound like you’re in a good mood.”

“Oh, I am! I’m in a perfect mood!” Levi danced around the room, swiveling his hips. He knew he had no rhythm, but it didn’t matter when so much happiness was dancing through him.

“Oh, and why’s that?”
