“Is that why you became a lawyer?” Jamie asked.
That surprised him. Neil hadn’t even been thinking of anything like that. People usually envisioned lawyers as being either ruthless and driven or dispassionate and boring. He couldn’t think of anyone else who would wonder if he became a lawyer for the reasons he gave.
“Probably a little bit,” Neil finally answered. “I mean, my father wouldn’t have been disappointed with me if I chose something else that was, I don’t know, reasonably well-paying and required at least a college degree. But I didn’t know what else to do, and since my father and grandfather were both lawyers and I didn’t have any other direction in life, I knew it would make him proud.”
“Well,” Sebastian said, “I want you to know that I’m already proud of you. You’ve done some amazing things today, including using your safeword. And, to be honest, I like that you’re comfortable being shy and open and unsure around me so that I can support you. Men in our culture aren’t raised to let that out, and it means a lot to me.”
Neil nuzzled in deeper because while his chest was glowing with pride at Sebastian’s praise, some of this was really hard to say. “You’re right about society not accepting sensitivity in men. I feel like I’m pretending confidence all the time, when really I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone who wanted me to depend on them. And it still feels weird to say that, but I have to hope that since other people want that, it’s OK for me, too.”
Jamie chucked behind him. “Oh, it’s definitely OK. Those are like the magic words for Daddy.”
“Really? But you don’t seem dependent on him at all.”
“Trust me on this one. Daddy appreciates my bratty side, but he’s going to be in heaven taking care of you this weekend.”
“He’s right. I think you’re very confident when you get into stuff that you love, like strategic planning for a small business. Your expertise is sexy.”
That praise made Neil feel warm all over. So did Jamie’s kisses feathered across the top of his shoulder.
“But I love that you’re bringing your submission and vulnerability to me, and that you want it to extend beyond just a few hours of a scene. When you asked me to be your Da- Dom all weekend it was the best gift you could have given me.” It was clear what the cut-off word was supposed to be. And that was what Sebastian was, right? A Daddy Dom?
“Really? I was hoping that was OK. It seemed like what you wanted but I didn’t want to overstep.”
“No, it was exactly what I wanted.”
“So… we’re still doing this then?” Neil asked, just to confirm. It wasn’t really a question. Jamie was undulating behind him, rubbing his lace-covered cock against Neil’s ass, while his fingers kept drifting around Neil’s chest, circling his nipples. Neil was draped over Sebastian’s body, so close that he felt every breath along with the soothing hand caressing his shoulder.
Jamie snorted. “You’re in our bed. Our hook-ups don’t usually make it up to our bed.” He said it playfully, but it was a mixed message.
Neil might be something special, but he was still, after all, just a hook-up. All of this affection they were showering him with was only for a few short days.
But that just meant he needed to make the most of it. If they were willing to try again, he was, too. Jamie wriggled against him again and he let out a small moan without even intending to.
Sebastian ran one warm hand down the length of Neil’s back, then slid it down further to cup his ass. “We’re definitely still doing this, as long as you want to. Now let’s talk about what you really want out of this weekend. Ignore the checklist. How can we make your dreams come true?”

Sebastian
Sebastian held Neil closer to him, relaxing into the intimacy of the moment.
Jamie hadn’t been kidding. It had been a really long time since they’d had someone else in their bed. Most of their scenes with temporary play partners happened in the dungeon or at a club in Portland.
Sebastian had been surprised last night when Jamie asked to tuck Neil into their bed, but the idea had filled him with warmth.
After tonight’s disastrous scene, he wanted all three of them somewhere comforting and cozy, away from prying eyes. When Jamie had alerted him that Neil was blanking out—or whatever had happened—he’d been terrified. He hadn’t read the situation correctly, and that was entirely his fault.
He would have felt terrible about that with anyone, but with Neil that feeling was multiplied. He got the sense that if Neil had walked out the door away from him, he might never try kink again.
And, to be honest, Sebastian felt like Neil’s Daddy, a role that snuck up on him like lapping ocean waves. Neil might never call him by that name, but that had been his request on the trail this morning, and that was how Sebastian was thinking of him. It went well beyond the bedroom, as it had since the first moment they met.
It might just be for a handful of days, but until it was over, Neil was his to protect, nurture, and guide.
That was why he needed to check again about Neil’s interests. The boy had been more than eager all day today, and he still wanted to give him the experiences he was craving. He’d just be more careful about it.
“I think I told you everything, Sir.” Ah, so he was back to Sir. Neil’s answer was muffled, his face pressed to Sebastian’s chest and half covered by the blankets. Each word tingled across Sebastian’s skin in a puff of breath.
“I didn’t hear it, though!” Jamie complained. “I left you two alone because I thought you were working, but you were just talking about kink.”
