He had toys at home. Well, one toy, though his ex had rolled his eyes at it and asked why he needed it. It was a plain, functional dildo, not too large, in basic black. And he wasn’t ashamed to own it, damn it.

Giving away a vibrating butt plug as a prize seemed like a lot though. And a flogger, just… sitting there?

Neil had fantasized about feeling something stronger than his ex’s unenthusiastic hand. He’d jerked off to the idea of having a Daddy who would make him wear a butt plug. Maybe even in public. Hopefully in public.

But if he won that prize in a contest, he’d probably be mortified. Just looking at the table now made him twitchy.

So he watched the water feature, trying to act like he wasn’t freaking out over a butt plug. Which was perfectly reasonable for someone to own.

While he watched the sparkling water, he listened to Jamie’s check-in routine with half an ear. “So, just select your preferred breakfast time and any food allergies, then make sure to leave the card hanging on your door by eight p.m., alright?” he told the other guest. “And if you want a little tip–” Neil turned when Jamie’s voice flipped from efficient to seductive and naughty. “–everything’s pretty good, but Daddy makes the best blueberry cornbread muffins. If enough people ask for them, he’ll have to make them for us.”

It didn’t seem possible, but Jamie was looking right at Neil when he delivered that line, like Neil might be part of the naughty boy’s plan to get special rewards from his Daddy.

“Boy, what did I tell you?” a booming voice called out from the room behind the desk.

Neil jumped at the sound. It was like he’d stumbled into a fantasy, even if he was only observing from the sidelines. His heart raced.

“That you love me and I’m the cutest, bestest boy on the whole planet?” Jamie’s sparkling green eyes stayed fixed on Neil’s, drawing him into the flirty game.

“No, I don’t think that was it,” the Daddy’s voice teased dangerously.

Neil knew that the words weren’t directed at him, but he felt a thrill of desire race down his spine.

“Hmmm…” Jamie pretended to consider. “Did you say you were going to make blueberry muffins just because you love me so much?”

“You’re pushing it, boy.”

Neil’s chest hurt with longing, listening to the two of them together. This was everything that he wanted so desperately. Was there any hope that he’d find it this weekend?

“Fine,” Jamie huffed, though he didn’t look upset. “Many of our guests,” he enunciated clearly, “also enjoy the other available breakfast options.”

Neil found himself laughing, along with Jamie and the other boy. He thought he might even hear Jamie’s Daddy chuckling from the other room, though it was muffled.

“Alright,” Jamie went back to his practiced speech. “You’re in room 203. Here’s your key card. Check out is three p.m. on Sunday, which is later than our usual check-out for the Cuffd Destination weekend, so please be on time. Any questions?”

The other boy didn’t have any, and soon vanished toward the elevator.

“Alright, cutie.” Jamie turned to Neil. “Let’s get you checked in.”

Neil found himself blushing. He couldn’t help it. Jamie’s green eyes were just very, very pretty, and he wasn’t used to compliments.

He knew that he wanted a Daddy, but there was still something thrilling about having all of Jamie’s playful attention on him.

Of course, Neil knew he wasn’t cute. He was flabby and pale from too many hours in the office. His face showed every one of his almost fifty years and he barely even remembered having hair on top of his head. His beard was probably his best feature, but he hadn’t had time to trim it and it was getting long. Neil was still wearing his tailored suit, so at best he resembled a corporate drone, maybe a higher-paid executive if he was lucky.

He didn’t have a thing in common with either the cute boy in the fishnet shirt, or Jamie with his luminous eyeshadow and flirtatious confidence. And they were both so very, very young.

“Mmmmm… Come here, baby,” Jamie cooed. “I’ll take care of you.” He pointed to the computer monitor, but his voice implied something very different.

Neil was so surprised that he actually laughed, just a quiet chuckle.

For a moment, Neil imagined touching Jamie’s soft cheek, feeling the whisper of his breath against his lips. That only led to images of passionate kisses and stripping off his shirt that already displayed a provocative hint of a muscular yet slender belly.

Neil stumbled while walking forward. Why was he even imagining this? Neil knew, or at least he thought he did, that he wanted a Daddy. He certainly didn’t want to be one. It was just that Jamie was so, so pretty, and no one had looked at Neil with anything like attraction or care in so, so long.

Neil told himself that Jamie’s words didn’t mean anything. He probably called everyone nicknames like cutie and baby. He was obviously only flirting because he’d perfected that mixture of playful innocence and naughty sensuality that Neil could only dream of emulating. Jamie already had a doting Daddy, and just had charisma to spare.

“Don’t be shy,” Jamie beckoned. “I only bite when I’m being naughty.”
