“Hey, there’s some people coming over here. Maybe folks you know?” Teo sounded positive about it, so that was good.

“Austin?” someone called. He couldn’t quite place the voice over the distance and the music. “It’s Levi. Sorry. If I’d known you were coming tonight I would have warned you.”

“Hey Levi.” He waved toward him. “That’s not your job. But good to see you.” He had protectors coming out all over the place.

Another voice broke in. Levi’s Daddy, Saul. “Good to see you, too. We just didn’t want you to leave because of him.”

“Thanks guys.” He didn’t need them… but it sure felt good. Like the community was on his side.

“Hey Daddy?” Mateo asked, stepping around him and pulling him a step to the side.. “Grab my ass.”

Austin didn’t even have time to process the command—perhaps the only command Mateo had ever given him—before Mateo was kissing him like a starving man.

Wolf whistles broke out around them.

Austin came up for air, grinning. “By the way, Levi and Saul, this is Mateo.”

Mateo was still hanging around his neck. “You can call me Teo.” That was a surprise. “Nice to meet you. And thanks for coming over to help my Daddy.”

Austin quirked a smile. His little Teo was definitely claiming what was his.

“Your Daddy, eh?” Saul sounded amused.

“Yes,” Austin agreed, already knowing what was coming. “Teo converted me to the dark side.”

“The Daddy side,” Levi giggled.

The teasing was never going to end. But he was laughing now.

“Do you guys want to grab a drink with us?” Levi asked.

He thought about it. He definitely wasn’t in the mood for a scene right now… but drinks with friends sounded pretty good.

“Teo?” he asked.

“Sounds good to me. Do I need to change clothes?”

“Nope. You can be sexy anywhere. I just can’t fully take advantage of it.” He linked his arm through Mateo’s. When they sailed through the door—the four of them together—he felt pretty triumphant.

Levi grabbed them a couple of couches and Saul ordered drinks. Austin sank down with Teo cuddled up beside him.

“So,” Levi started, when he plopped down across from them. “Any thoughts about working for Cuffd?”

Austin blinked at him. He sounded genuine. “I put in an application a month ago.”

“And Daddy quit his job today!” Teo added helpfully, stroking along his chest.
