I turn to find him standing in the doorway of the guest room, wearing only a pair of black boxer briefs. He’s dangling a familiar leather harness, the matching dog mask in his other hand.

“Do you remember Halloween?” he asks.

My lips quirk. “How could I forget?”

I purchased the harness, mask, and a few other accessories at kink store in the city last year. It was originally a bit of a gag gift, but it ended up being pretty fun. Pet-play definitely appealed to Naz’s humiliation kink. He almost refused but was too stubborn to safe word out. But damn if I didn’t enjoy watching him crawl around on all fours. It’s become a bit of an inside joke between us, about how far we’d be willing to go to show the other how serious we are about something.

The last time we used them was last Halloween, when Naz and Will dressed up and hit the streets. This mask and harness were in one of our bags and made a perfect disguise for my pet.

Naz looks fucking lethal in a harness. Dangerous and sexy in a way that makes me wild and careless. Enough that I almost came in my pants grinding on him in the club that night and ended up letting him hump me in a bathroom stall.

Good fucking times.

“I thought we might… switch things up tonight.”

My eyebrows raise. “Is that so?”

His eyes lock on mine and hold my gaze for a long, silent moment. The prolonged eye contact and the challenge in his dark gaze, has my cock plumping behind the tight material of my borrowed pants.

“Sit.”

He gives the command in a low, clipped tone, enunciating the word in such a way that there’s no possibility of mistaking his intent. We really are switching things up tonight. The role reversal makes me jittery with excitement and nerves. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to please him. There’s no limit to what I’d do at his command.

I drop to my knees without hesitation, as if that one simple word forced my legs to buckle beneath me. I sit back on my heels, watching, waiting for whatever comes next.

Naz closes the distance between us in slow, fluid strides, eyes sparkling with interest. Does he like the way it feels, knowing I’ll do whatever he commands? Most of our private time is spent helping him let go of control. Will he like the role reversal?

He comes to a stop right in front of me, his toes almost touching my knees. My eyes track over every inch of his body, from the arch of his feet, and up the corded muscles of his legs. The bulge of his erection has my mouth filling with saliva. My Adam’s apple bobs as I swallow, continuing the journey upwards to his black, dilated eyes. He looks unreal from this angle, the shadows highlight every cut muscle on his lean form.

Without touching my skin, Naz fingers the frayed edge of the arm of my shirt.

“Take this off,” he says, voice low and melodic.

It’s on the floor almost before he can finish the command.

Naz’s lips twitch. “Eager, are we?”

I bite my lip to hold back any sarcastic remarks.

“You might as well take the rest off then.”

Again, I hurry to comply, stripping off every stitch of clothing in record time before settling back at his feet.

“Good boy.”

My heart thuds, liking the simple praise more than I ever thought I could. But who am I kidding? It’s Naz. A compliment from him, given so freely and without the edge of snark he normally has for me goes right to my head. It’s possible my tongue almost lolls out of my mouth like a panting dog.

Without speaking, Naz helps me into the harness before sliding the leather mask over my face. The mask isn’t my favorite. It wasn’t my favorite when he was the one wearing it, either. I much prefer to look at his pretty face flush with embarrassment or lust.

“Do you know your safe words?” Naz asks, clipping a leash to the harness.

I nod. Naz and I have used the traffic light system since the beginning. It’s simple and effective. “Green,” I confirm confidently.

“Alright then, let’s go,” he says, tugging on the leash. “Heel.”

Taking my place at his side, I crawl along beside him as we take a simple walk around the living room. The hardwood floors are harsh on my knees, but something about the bruises I can feel forming makes the play feel more real. After a few laps around, Naz guides me to sit in front of him again.

“Can you do any tricks?” The question sounds tentative, like he isn’t sure if this is too much. When I had him like this, I mostly stuck to having him crawl around on all fours and tossing a rubber bone for him to fetch a couple times.
