It probably looked bad. I was still leaning back on the wall while Hunter’s arm was braced above my head as he leaned over to watch the phone too.

“Just showing your girl what I did to her dad. Why didn’t you tell her I got him?” Hunter asked bluntly, Skeeter’s jaw clenching.

I put my hand out to push Hunter back from my space, handing his phone back.

“Tell me if you get him again.”

“I said I would, babe. I’ll call you and you can come play with him in my cell,” he grinned, pocketing his phone before turning to face Skeeter. “You’ll have a drink with me while I’m here, right?”

“How did you even get in?” Skeeter snapped, running his eyes over me as if Hunter had hurt me.

“We walked through the front door. Like I told Rory, the security sucks, as always. You’d be better off hiring some of your guys,” he shrugged, making me groan.

“What do you mean we?”

“Mark and Faris are here. We were in the neighborhood.”

“You’ve got two seconds to get Marco out before I kill him,” Skeeter warned, making me frown. Something else must have happened that I wasn’t aware of.

Hunter eyed me with a chuckle, apparently knowing what it was, but deciding not to tell me.

“He’s having fun, leave him be.”

That kind of made me worry, and I jogged downstairs to see if I could spot him. If he hurt any of the guys, I’d kill him myself.

Instead of a violent kidnapping, like I expected, I found Marco dancing shirtless on the kitchen counter, a bottle of whiskey in hand as he chugged some down. He also had Tyler up there with him having the time of his fucking life as if they hadn’t beaten on each other the last time we were at a party together.

“Where’s Skeet? Marco—” Caden started, but I rolled my eyes.

“Skeet’s aware the Devils are here. Hunter was upstairs with me, and he’s with Skeet now.”

“Hey, Donovan,” Faris said brightly as he moved to stand beside me, a glass of something in his hand too. “You guys know how to throw a party.”

“You weren’t invited,” I deadpanned, a small grin tugging at his mouth.

“I figured as much, but Hunter insisted on saying hello. Sorry we lost your dad.”

Caden gave me a questioning look, but I ignored it.

“You need to leave. Get Marco off the damn counter.”

“I’ll leave when the boss says to,” he answered lightly, and I huffed before walking off, heading towards the kitchen counter.

“If it isn’t my number two fan,” Marco smirked, holding a hand out to me. “Climb up.”

“Absolutely not. Who’s your number one fan? The cops?”

“Your boyfriend. Don’t be a bitch. Dance with me.”

“You’re going to get us killed, idiot.”

“If I’m going to hell, at least it would be fun with you,” he joked, handing the bottle to Tyler, who was still dancing. Marco moved to sit on the counter, his eyes raking over me. “Did Hunt show you the video?”

“He did.”

“Bet it made you horny. Hunt’s a weapon when he’s mad. And shirtless too? What a treat for you,” he teased, hooking his feet behind me to tug me closer. I stumbled, smacking into him and pressing my hand against his chest to try and pull away. “I think you should let him fuck you one time. I bet you could convince Skeet to watch. He always loved that shit.”

“Get your hands off my woman,” Tyler scolded as he almost fell off the counter on his way down to get between us, only managing to stumble against me and sandwich me between them.
