Ava: You just got engaged. You’re in a love bubble. You’re not paying attention to anybody except your man and whatever wedding color palette has you stressed this week.

Ava: Her name is Dr. Sasha Kimball. She teaches at the university.

Tabby: a professor? and a doctor? nice.

Ava: Thoughtful. Intellectual. Reads books for information, not entertainment.

Tabby: eww

Annie: damn. shots fired.

Ava: Hale is smart-smart. He needs somebody who can keep up.

Tabby: I guess. when are you thinking?

Ava: This week. Tuesday maybe? I’ll tell Hale I wanna grab a drink and then Dr. Kimball just so happens to drop by.

Annie: he is absolutely going to know it’s a setup

Ava: Obviously. But he’s too polite to get up and leave.

Tabby: that feels mean.

Ava: It’s not mean. It’s helping. The man needs help.

Ava: Yaz, thoughts? You’ve been quiet.

Yasmine: I’m unpacking.

Ava: Whether Dr. Kimball is a good idea.
