Her hands slid to the hem of my shirt.
“I also want to do something I didn’t get enough time to do last night.”
“What?”
Caprice smiled.
“You’ll find out.”
I followed her down the hall.
The bathroom held more heat than the rest of the house. Stone tile warmed our feet, and the shower had textured flooring with a built-in bench along the back wall.
I turned on the water while Caprice pulled her sweater over her head.
She kept looking at me.
Her bra followed.
Then the leggings.
By the time she stood naked beside the shower, nothing else in the room was getting much of my attention.
Caprice reached for my shirt.
“Your turn.”
I raised my arms.
She pulled it off, then ran both palms down my chest. My stomach tightened beneath her hands.
Her smile widened.
“You’re very responsive for a man who spends so much time looking calm.”
“I never said I was calm.”
“You look calm.”
“That’s different.”
“I know.”
She unfastened my pants.
Once we were both naked, she stepped under the spray and held out her hand.
“Come here.”
I joined her.
Hot water ran over my shoulders. Caprice stood closer to the edge of the spray, the top of her head barely reaching the upper part of my chest.
She looked up.
“This height difference is ridiculous.”
“You’ve mentioned it.”
