Iwake up, my back pressed against something warm and hard.

I catch myself smiling even before I open my eyes. I’m so cozy and comfortable. I haven’t woken up feeling this content in…I can’t even remember the last time.

I shift, and I feel that warm, hard thing against my hip too. It is deliciously heavy.

And then, a second later, my sleepy brain catches up. It’s Leo.

My eyes fly open. We fell asleep together?

Memories from the night before pop up in my groggy brain. All those Jell-O shots I had. How I made Leo carry me up the stairs to his bedroom.

How, after he took my shoes off and tucked me into bed, I grabbed his arm and pulled him into bed with me.

How I begged him to stay and cuddle with me.

I turn my face into my pillow and groan softly, mortified at how I acted when I was drunk. He must think I’m a creep.

Behind me, he starts to stir. Shoot. I didn’t mean to wake him up.

He yawns, and the sound is so low and rough that I shiver.

“Sorry,” I whisper. “Did I wake you?”

“It’s okay,” he says, his voice groggy with sleep. I close my eyes and try not to groan at how sexy he sounds first thing in the morning. I bet he looks hot as hell too, hair all messy, cheeks covered in dark stubble.

I clear my throat, working up the nerve to apologize for how I acted last night, but then I feel it. Something hard against my ass.

“Oh…” I say. “Are you…”

Leo clears his throat and slowly backs away from me. “Sorry,” he mutters, like he’s embarrassed. I’m not facing him, so I can’t see him, but I bet his cheeks are flushed.

He clears his throat. “It’s morning, and sometimes I…I mean, I—”

“It’s okay,” I say. My breathing kicks up.

Leo’s hard dick was pressed up against my ass, and I liked it. A lot. I don’t want him to apologize for it. I hate the thought of him feeling embarrassed about it.

I turn around so I’m facing him. My breath lodges in my throat. Just like I suspected. He is dangerously handsome when he wakes up.

There’s a shy look in his eyes, and the edge of his jaw bulges.

“Don’t apologize,” I say. Then I look down between his legs, at the impressive bulge in front of the shorts he’s wearing. I gasp softly. If that’s how big he is with clothes on, then he must be massive.

I hold his gaze. “I liked it.”

His brow lifts. “Liked what?”

“Feeling you against my ass. Feeling how hard you are.”

I hold my breath, my nerves firing off inside of me. I shouldn’t be doing this. I shouldn’t be telling Leo that I love feeling how hard he is for me. We’re friends. Friends don’t do this. Friends don’t cross that line.

But in this moment, all those reminders I’ve been telling myself about why we need to be friends and nothing more fade away. I don’t care about any of them.

I want Leo. I want him so bad, and I’m tired of fighting it.

I slide closer to him and cup my hands over his face. “I want you, Leo.” I swallow. “Do you want me?”
