Sevastyan cursed, bending forward and bringing both of them to the bed. Rei let go of Sevastyan’s neck, catching himself on his forearms. Sevastyan ground down against him, pressing him into the mattress as he rode out his orgasm.

They lay there, both gasping for air. Rei’s cock and balls throbbed. Sevastyan tried to move and failed. He gathered himself again and pulled his cock from Rei’s hole.

“So wet, Rei,” he whispered. He ran his fingers through the spend coming out.

“Good.” Rei was still trying to breathe. Leaking Sevastyan’s cum, hole burning, his groin throbbing, his legs an afterthought he could barely feel, all of made his belly soft and his lungs relaxed, like he could drift safely.

Sevastyan picked him up and turned him over. “Your turn.”

Rei blinked up at Sevastyan. There were fingers pushing inside him and a hand on his belly holding him in place. “Cum,” Sevastyan ordered.

Rei’s lips parted. But Sevastyan was staring straight down at him. He couldn’t look away. Not as Sevastyan grabbed his cock and stroked it, not as Sevastyan’s fingers pressed down on his prostate, massaging him from the inside. All he could see was that hunger and the fierceness focused on him as if Sevastyan needed to consume Rei as much as Rei had needed to consume him.

He came without a conscious thought, his orgasm obeying Sevastyan’s will, hypnotized by Sevastyan’s gaze. His stomach tightened. Cum splattering across his face and chest. The room grayed out. Someday, he was going to beg for Sevastyan’s full hand inside him, when it wasn’t training or a demonstration. When it was just because Rei wanted that much of Sevastyan closer than close.

He came back with Sevastyan’s fingers still buried in his hole, and his other hand rubbing cum into his skin. He smiled, reaching up to touch some of the purple bites on Sevastyan’s arms. “I marked you.”

Sevastyan laughed.

They both grew still, smiling with each other. This couldn’t last, but it was there for the moment.

“Bath,” Sevastyan finally said.

“Bath,” Rei agreed and pushed himself up on trembling arms. Everything ached. His ribs were on fire. Scratches, welts, and marks from Sevastyan’s mouth, both the imprint of teeth and purple bruises where he’d sucked the blood to the surface patterned his skin. Sevastyan blushed taking Rei’s new look in, and then held out his arms, checking himself. He was the same. If anything, he was worse. Rei’s love marks littered Sevastyan’s stomach and ribs, except around the bullet wound.

“I’m going to have to explain this,” Sevastyan said, smirking.

“No, you don’t.” Ellisandre’s voice came from the living room.

Sevastyan colored to the roots of his hair. Rei fell back on the bed, laughing. Except his ribs hurt too much now to truly laugh. He pressed a hand to the tender point and tried to laugh silently. A knock came at the door.

Sevastyan met Rei’s eyes. Rei nodded.

“Come in,” Sevastyan said.

Ellisandre entered, smirking. Then they stopped and took in both Rei and Sevastyan.

“You . . . two . . . did some damage.” They raised both eyebrows.

“Worth it,” Sevastyan said. He started to push up off the mattress and wavered, his thigh spasming.

Ellisandre offered their hand. “Good thing the jacuzzi tub here is big enough for both of you.”

The summons from the Yadro came a few days later, just under a week from the end of February. He was to go to the Yadro, consult, then to Seoul to meet with the aggrieved wife of the client Gang Junseo had killed, now assigned the code name Black Flower. Once that consult was done, he’d report back to the Yadro to organize a final solution to the problem that was Gang Junseo.

As if Jun was a problem at all.

Sevastyan examined that thought. Since when had Gang Junseo become Jun?

Probably since Ellisandre had kept referring to the K-Pop idol that way, and Rei had taken to speaking of him more often as well. All of 5N had started to feel like an odd extended family. They belonged to his people, both his people—Rei and Ellisandre—and by extension, they were his people. For better or for worse.

Sevastyan clarified details and asked the names of who he would be working with in South Korea. Then he hung up and went to find Rei and Lisa. Leaving them for so long was going to be a wrench.

The trip itself, though, was a relief. The Merchari in general, and the Yadro in particular had been whiffle-waffling so long that action, almost any action away from stalemate, loosened something in his chest. A moving river was something that might be guided.
