“Why did you kiss him?” he demands. His tone is harsh and not how he usually speaks to me.

“It was part of the act,” I say. “Wasn’t I supposed to get him to leave the café with me?”

“Yes.” Sebastian’s shoulders flex. He turns around, but steps away from me. “Your instructions were to lure him out to the alley, not to make out with him.”

“I didn’t make out with him!” I defend myself with frustration, folding my arms across my chest.

“That’s not what it sounded like or looked like from the guys parked outside the front of the restaurant,” he spits back.

Now my blood is boiling. “I leaned over the table to pretend…to act like I was going to kiss him. But as soon as his lips barely touched mine, I instantly backed away!”

Sebastian’s steps toward me, his size crowding my space. “But he touched your lips, didn’t he?”

“This is ridiculous!” I exclaim. “I can’t believe you’re acting this way.” I plant a frustrated hand on my hip. “And besides, we’re not really together so it shouldn’t matter!”

Sebastian’s eyes darken. “I don’t give a fuck, Stevie!” Then he takes another quick step toward me, eating the short distance still left between us. “In this space, you are my girl. And I intend on treating you as such as long as we’re working on this project together.”

My heart falls to my stomach as if I’ve swallowed a rock. “Oh, yeah? Then why did you refuse to sleep in the same bed as me the other night?”

“It’s complicated.”

I blow out a frustrated breath. “So I have to deal with a jealous boyfriend like things are real, but I get none of the perks?” My eyes widen.

What did I just say?

“Perks?”

“You know what I mean,” I dismiss, hoping he’ll forget I said it.

“I’d like to hear you say it.”

My eyes dart to the other side of the room at nothing in particular. I just need to look away from him. “Say what?”

“Stevie?”

I rub my lips together and refocus on him, but his eyes go to my mouth. “Yes?”

“Say you want more from me.”

It’s clear he isn’t going to give up, and why not be honest? I have nothing to hide. I’m a woman with needs, and I should be confident with them. “I want the perks of having you as a boyfriend.”

Desire transforms his features while his palm slides up the side of my face and his fingers thread through my hair. I lean in, craving his touch. “Let me play with you a little. I’ll make sure you get all the perks you want.”

I nod, wanting to give in finally to every dirty thought I’ve had about him.

Sebastian drops to his knees, bringing both of his warm hands to the outside of my legs. Sliding his palms along my skin, he traces a path over my knees and thighs while lifting my dress at the same time. In one swift motion, he ducks his head under the fabric. Goose bumps spread across my body.

His lips move to the inside of my thigh while his fingers hook around the string of my panties. “I can smell you, Stevie, and it’s exactly like what I remember.”

My head falls back. Oh, fuck. I want this so badly.

After my panties are down around my ankles, Sebastian’s lips meet the outside of my core. His warm breath dusts my sensitive area before he places a soft kiss on my slit.

“Oh, Sebastian,” I groan.

An electric current rushes up my spine as he suddenly dips his tongue inside me. Sebastian devours me, turning his head to the side like last time, to get deeper while gripping my ass cheeks and pulling them into him.

But then draws his head back, causing my pussy to pulse with an intense ache. “I want to see all of you,” he says while sliding his hands along the outside of my legs and over my hips, taking my dress with them until they slip under my bra and massage over my breasts.
