I felt it in the pulse of her core, squeezing my fingers tight, and in the gush of arousal that coated them. She cried out my name, her heels digging into my back and her thighs like a vise around my head.

I could barely breathe, and I realized instantly I wouldn’t care if I never did again. I could happily suffocate right here, with my face buried in her pussy.

I licked and sucked and stroked her until she was a shivering, trembling mess.

Eventually, her legs fell away from my shoulders, and she lay back, floppy and sated.

Again, my brain whispered this was temporary. That I’d been given a gift tonight, one I wouldn’t get again, so I had better make the most of it.

But fuck, I wanted this woman in my bed every night.

I stared at her for the longest moment.

So long that Luca eventually said, “You going to fuck her?”

Nyah gazed up at me through hazy, well-satisfied eyes and whispered, “You can.”

But I could see how tired she was. How she’d already been given everything she needed and anything else I did now would be for me and not for her.

So I just scooped her up like she was a baby and walked her into my bathroom.

And kicked the door closed, locking Luca out.

I heard his laughter as I turned the water on to clean Nyah up and then the door close when he left my room.

Dear Diary,

I went searching for Lynx and accidentally committed a crime. How many years do you get for being a Peeping Tom?

Ifell asleep, wrapped in the quiet strength of Lynx’s arms, and wondered how I had ever seen this man as just a friend. To be fair, maybe if I’d known he could go down on a woman the way he had on me, I might have seen him as something more before this point.

I didn’t know how the hell to reconcile the way I felt about him or Luca or Dax, but I tried not to think about it. So far, none of them had made demands on me. Well, at least not about choosing just one of them.

Luca had made some demands, but they were the kind that set my body on fire and had me trembling from head to toe with need.

But when I woke the next morning, in gentle sunlight, not one of them was in my bed.

“Lynx?” I called, thinking maybe he was in the adjoining bathroom.

But there was no water running, and he didn’t call back.

I frowned and sat up, pulling the sheet with me to cover up my nakedness. I suddenly felt vulnerable and exposed, and the room that had felt so warm when I’d thought Lynx was in it, now suddenly felt cold.

I got up and tested the water in the shower, finding it worked much better than the one in the room I’d shared with Dax. I washed my hair with Lynx’s two-in-one shampoo, then instantly regretted it when my hair was a matted mess that would need a bottle of decent conditioner to fix. But at least I could brush my teeth, and by the time I left the bathroom, though my hair was a bit of a damp disaster, the rest of me felt clean.

Until I had to do the walk of shame to my room to get fresh clothes.

Amber sat at the bar with a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee. She simply winked at me, knowing smile firmly in place.

I stifled a laugh and shook my head at her. “Have you seen Lynx?”

She swallowed a mouthful of her coffee. “Not today. Figured he was with you, what with all the hot sex you two were having last night.”

I glanced around the room, making sure there wasn’t anyone else in earshot before whispering, “We didn’t even have sex. But the man has…talents.”
