He pulled out, and exhilaration filled me. The cool night air streamed past, and the lone headlight illuminated the moonlit town. It was just him and me, and the road before us. My worries felt like they were behind me as we sped away. There was only the future, and nothing in the way.

I don’t know how long we rode. An hour, maybe more. We rode until my arms were numb, and my soul felt calm for the first time since my parents’ sitting room.

Finally, we ended up pulling back into the parking lot outside my dorm.

Wordlessly, Cole got off the bike and helped me. I was shocked to find it was hard to walk. My muscles, unused to sitting on the bike for so long, had seized up. He lifted me against him when I stumbled.

“Where’s your car?” He scanned the lot.

“I had to leave it at my parents for a while,” I said, hoping it wouldn’t spark follow-up questions.

Cole’s eyes narrowed, and he pulled his phone from his back pocket, still holding me steady with his other hand. He typed out a quick message, and I could see the screen well enough to read it.

“You don’t have to lend me your truck-,”

“Issy, don’t tell me what to do with my property,” he reprimanded firmly, just a hint of a grin playing at the corner of his lips.

“Well, you really don’t need to get some poor guy to drive it over here at this time of the night.”

“You might need it in the morning. It’s done.” There was no arguing with that tone. He was the boss of all aspects of his life. Taking charge just came naturally to him, and good god, it felt good to surrender to it.

“You good?” he asked, softer now, as I leaned into his chest.

“I just need a second and I’ll be able to walk again,” I muttered. I finally felt calm inside, and sleepy.

“In a second, you’ll be asleep. Besides, I seem to remember telling you that taking care of you isn’t a bother.” He carried me down the dorm hallway, and I stared dreamily at the underside of his chiseled, tattooed jaw.

He looked down and caught my eyes, his gaze warm.

“It’s a fucking privilege.”

It was official: I was being crushed. Not everyone was designed to fit in a dorm bed, and Cole was just one of those people. His feet were hanging off the end of the mattress, his arms were over the headboard, and I had to cling onto his chest just to stay up there. He turned and dragged me with him.

“Hey!” I squealed, burrowing closer and slinging my leg over his thighs to straddle him, the only surefire way not to end up on the floor.

“Hmm, I might like this setup. I might need a new bed at the cabin,” he murmured, taking in our position appreciatively.

“No way. I love your bed. This is far too tight,” I protested.

“True, but my bed doesn’t guarantee waking up like this,” Cole murmured and slid his hands down my sides to grip my ass. I only had a long T-shirt on, and it was rucked up to my waist. My legs were spread across his thickly muscled thighs, lining my bare pussy up with his hard-on. He slid his hands in circles on my ass cheeks, then used that pressure to position his tip at my entrance.

I gasped, biting my lip as he pressed shallowly inside.

“This is how I want to wake up from now on,” he murmured. “Balls deep in my old lady.”

“Excuse me, sir. I know you’re getting on in age, but I have to remind you, since it’s slipped your mind, you’re the old one around here,” I said, my tone sweetly sarcastic.

He chuckled and smacked my ass with both hands at once, making me yelp.

I jerked on his cock, making it sink deeper.

“I might be older and wiser than you, baby, but in my world, you’re still my old lady.”

I squirmed on his dick. “I’ll give you older, but I contest wiser. Call me old again and I’m going to start referring to you as grandpa—hey!”
