Fucking heaven.

This was heaven.

She couldn’t believe how good he felt inside her, how firm and thick he was, and yet she wasn’t in pain. She wasn’t hoping this would be over and done with quickly. No, what she wanted was more and more.

“Move, please,” she begged him. “Please.”

“Whatever you want, baby. Just tell me if it starts to hurt, or you get scared or worried.”

“I won’t get scared or worried,” Lily promised. “Because I’m with you, and you’d never hurt me.”

“Good girl,” he told her, making her insides warm.

Then he started to move, and her pleasure grew and grew until she didn’t think she could hold it in anymore.

And yet she couldn’t seem to quite reach that peak.

“Fuck. I’m so close. Please tell me you’re close as well.”

“I don’t think I can,” she cried, starting to grow worried. “I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

She was going to ruin everything.

But then he touched her clit, his thumb flicking back and forth, and it was just what she needed to set her off. She reached that peak and flew over, coming with a loud cry as she arched up. It didn’t take him long before he was following her over with a low moan of pleasure, and then he slumped on top of her.

Then he rolled them both so that he was on his back and she was lying on top of him.

As she came down off that high, she started to feel strange, like she wanted to crawl out of her own skin. But he seemed to read her mind. He just wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight, and whispering to her, telling her what a good girl she was, how amazing she was. It was everything she needed to hear.

And there was no place she would rather be, right then, than in his arms, safe and protected.

“I love you so much, Harvey. Thank you for kidnapping me.”

By kidnapping her, he’d given her a freedom that she’d never expected in a life that she’d never thought she’d have.

He grinned. “Now those are five words I never expected to hear. But I’ll kidnap you anytime you need it.”

EPILOGUE

The backyard was filled with people.

She peered out the window. There were so many people that it was almost overwhelming.

Remember, you know everyone here.

Everyone in that backyard was here for her and for Harvey.

There was a snuffle behind her, and she turned to see Crackling. He looked very handsome in his suit. It had taken her ages to find an outfit that would fit him. It was surprising how much he’d grown in the last three months. “Are you ready for this, Crackling?”

“He sure looks like he is,” Clem said, walking into the room. She was wearing a pale pink dress. Her hair was pulled back in soft waves.

“You look gorgeous,” Lily told her.

“Pretty sure that’s meant to be my line, Shiny,” Clem replied, using the nickname their grandma used to use for Lily. She put her hands on her hips as she studied Lily. “You look fucking fantastic.”

Lily had to giggle.

It still shocked her how easy it was for her to laugh now. She had so much to laugh and smile about.
