“It was good. Brownies are done, but I still have to frost the cupcakes, and he’s in his room.”

“In that case.” Jack grabbed my face for another kiss.

My hands automatically went to his chest and I could tell his nipples were hard – likely from the cold – but I gave them a little pinch anyway.

“Oh!” Jack jumped back a little. “Don’t start something you can’t finish, mister.”

“I’ll finish tonight. All over your face.”

“You gonna call me cupcake then?”

It took me a second, but I understood the reference. “You want some frosting?”

“It is almost Christmas, and you’ve worked so hard,” Jack said, sliding his hand down my side and to the front, grabbing a handful of cock.

It didn’t take me long to harden. To be honest, I was halfway there with his kiss.

“Don’t start something you can’t finish,” I teased, throwing his words back at him.

“Like you said”–he let go of my cock and squeezed my butt instead–“we can finish tonight.”

Jack stepped away, instinctively, as he heard the thunderous noise Henry’s footsteps produced coming down the stairs.

“Are the brownies done?” he asked, walking into the kitchen. “I could smell them upstairs.”

“They’re done, but they’re for the party. And still cooling. You can have one in a few minutes.”

“Okay.” Henry sat down at the table and pulled out his phone.

“I’m gonna shower and get ready for the party. What time are we heading over?” Jack asked.

“Eli said any time after noon, so we can leave whenever you’re ready,” I answered.

“Is that what you’re wearing?”

“Is it not okay?” I glanced down, checking my jeans and sweater for any random batter.

“Oh no, you look great. I just didn’t know how fancy to dress.”

“It’s casual. Eli said to dress in whatever’s comfortable.”

Apparently, comfortable to Jack meant as sexy as he could get. He was wearing dark denim jeans – the tightest I had ever seen – a tucked-in, white long-sleeve button up, and a fitted cranberry vest.

Driving over to Lane and Raquel’s house was a challenge. My eyes kept drifting to stare at his legs. After the first swerve on Route 2, my eyes stayed on the road.

“Do we know who else is going to be here?” Jack asked.

“Besides Lane, Raquel and their kids, I’m only aware of Eli, Gareth and Trey.”

“Oh. Cozy.”

I glanced in the rearview to see if Henry had a reaction, but didn’t see one. This would be the first time I would be there to see Henry and Trey hang out since Jack’s confession. If Henry did have a crush on Trey, I was happy to support him in his journey. It had been a bit of a confusing one for me, especially having a child straight out of college where I had a variety of experiences. But hopefully all that only made me a better resource for him – if he needed it.

If he didn’t need me, he had Jack.

We didn’t even make it into the house with the desserts before Gareth had handed us both drinks. Henry disappeared almost right away, so Jack and I headed into the kitchen where the adults hovered around the food. Every now and then, one of the kids popped in to grab something, but for the most part, they stayed entertained with whatever they were doing. Not that Ben was a kid anymore – he was almost taller than Jack.

A few hours – and a few more drinks – in and I was pretty sloshed. To the point where I wondered how we were getting home. It seemed Jack was too because when Gareth and Eli started kissing, he grabbed me and planted his lips on mine.
