“I think I’ll be fine, but you’re not. We need to get you a real drink. How is anyone supposed to take advantage of you if you're sober?”
I dragged him through the throng of bodies towards the kitchen.
“What gave you your costume idea anyway?”
“Other than seeing you in it every weekend for the last two months? I thought it would be fun to dress like you. See what it was like to be a jock. Make people smile.”
“Well, you made me smile.” I grabbed a cup and poured some alcohol and juice together. “Here.”
“You really want me to drink, huh?”
“How else can he take advantage of you?”
I watched Zach tense. Did he hear that as well?
“Did you just hear a strange voice, Zach?”
He pushed my chest. “I think you need a drink if you’re hearing voices.” Zach laughed, but I knew he was playing it off. It was his fake laugh.
I let it go because Zach had touched me again. I was thankful to be standing by the kitchen island. My hard dick was hidden, pressed against one of the island’s drawers. I tried to will it down, hoping Zach wasn’t planning on going somewhere else any time soon, but I kept thinking of the voice.
“Damn, Zach,” Aiden said, making his way into the kitchen. “Nice look. You guys could be twins.”
“Like us,” his brother added, following close behind.
“Thanks.” Zach practically beamed with pride. “You two on the prowl tonight?
Aiden shrugged. Jayden answered, “Keeping our options open. We’ll see. Lots of tight bodies here tonight.”
“Isn’t that the point of Halloween?” I gave him a pat on the stomach. “Nice briefs, by the way. I feel like Batman and Robin had more clothing than that.”
“Can’t show off this”–Aiden flexed and his twelve abs became more obvious–“without a lack of material.”
They were being a little coy and after Zach’s confession the other night, I was starting to wonder if there were more non-straight guys in the frat than I thought. I really wanted to ask if they were looking at both sexes or one in particular. They spent so much time together, I couldn’t remember a time when I saw them on a date or with a hook-up.
But I wasn’t as close with them as I was with Zach, and it wasn’t really any of my business. I really hoped they would be comfortable coming out to me if they were bi or gay. If Malik’s costume was any indication, he certainly felt comfortable expressing himself.
Because of the accident that shut down the fraternities, we definitely weren’t as rough with the pledges of the past. My dad explained everything they had to do during rush week, and we were much nicer. No testicular injuries. Part of that was because of the higher scrutiny, but also, we certainly didn’t want anyone to die.
No, I was certain, nothing during rush week was homophobic. Homoerotic, yes. But nothing that would make anyone feel the need to stay in the closet. I planned on talking to Liam about this and maybe have the house send an official email to everyone, stating that we were an open and accepting house.
“You’re lost in thought. What are you thinking about?”
I glanced at Zach, noticing the twins had disappeared. “Random shit.” I shrugged. “Anyone catch your eye tonight?”
Zach gave me a look, almost like he was hurt, and I was afraid I said the wrong thing again. “Sorry. You don’t have to answer. I just thought-”
“It’s fine. I’m just not sure I’m ready to do…that kind of thing, you know. Here. With everybody.” Zach gestured to the room, spilling his drink.
“In that case, you can stick with me and we’ll just get good and drunk. How does that sound?” I leaned over the island and said, “You might just end up in some hunk’s bed again.”
I meant it as a joke, but based on his expression, I wasn’t sure he understood that I meant my bed.
“Sup, Decker?” Liam put his arm around my shoulders. “You should whip your cock out. Go all the way.” With his other hand, he practically fondled me through my loincloth.
Zach almost spit out his drink, but recovered quickly.
“You feelin’ any pussy here tonight, man?”
