“They’re all digital now.” Off came the shorts.
“It was that embarrassing?”
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”
“I thought you were studying.”
He looked over at me with a grin. “It was a hookup, alright? Let’s leave it at that.”
I did not want to hear about whatever girl or girls he messed around with, so I kept my words to myself and continued to watch the show I knew he was putting on for me.
Though I wasn’t gonna keep my mouth shut about that. “You know you can get undressed with the lights off, right?”
He turned, pulled his tighty whities off, giving me the full view, and said, “Where’s the fun in that?”
Bastard knew I’d watch. He liked the attention, and who was I to keep it from him?
I had never met a more average straight guy than Logan the day we moved into the dorms, but it only took a week for the real Logan to emerge. Naked, of course.
“So tell me about your evening? Did you wait up all night for me to come home, dear?”
“My secret admirer messaged me on Grindr.”
“What?!”
So I told him what happened, and then he wanted to see PillowByter’s ass. I didn’t want to send it to him, so he got out of bed and walked over to stare at it on my phone.
“Nice!”
“You know, some days I question your sexuality.”
“Nudity doesn’t have anything to do with sexuality, Mikey. Plus, I believe that everyone should be proud of their bodies, and I’m not ashamed of mine.”
“Clearly.”
Logan went back to his bed, but left the light on. “So are you going to message him?”
“He’s offline and he’s my secret admirer. He’ll contact me when he’s good and ready.”
“I’ll bet you’re good and ready after that photo.”
“I finished before you arrived.”
Logan laughed and then kept laughing. “I’m not surprised.”
And then we talked about swimming and his weird anthropology professor and how he sometimes thought about which Disney movie he’d want to live in.
At some point, he shut the light off and we both fell asleep.
CHAPTER 5
Imet Professor Fraser, who told me to call him John, at the gym and started by giving him a tour of the facilities. I noticed his sneakers and told him they were mostly for running and that if he wanted to get serious about weightlifting, cross trainers would be better since they were more multi-purpose.
“So I need new shoes?” He looked confused.
“I didn’t mean to overwhelm you. I’ll send you some links for what I’m talking about.”
I started him off on an arms and abs workout, and explained I hit the gym five times a week and targeted different areas of my body each session. I tried to make it sound simple but I was afraid it was still too complicated.
