Elana opened her mouth, eyes flashing with that hint of anger, but another deep plunge made her gasp instead. I could tell she was fighting it, wanting to demand answers or push me off, yet her hips rocked up to meet me anyway. Her walls fluttered around my dick, betraying how good it felt. Her brows furrowed hard, clear questions about Sonnet burning behind them, but she still forced the words out in a shaky moan.

"Yes... Fuck, I love how your dick wrecks me," she gasped, voice cracking as her body betrayed every doubt. "I need it so bad, Vega—don't stop, please."

Her moans turned into desperate cries as I kept thrusting, sweat slicking our skin and the wet sounds of her pussy taking me filling the room. I felt her getting closer, her walls pulsing, but I didn't let up, driving into her harder to drown out any lingering thoughts with pure, filthy pleasure.

I drove my dick deep into her pussy with relentless force. Each thrust made her body jolt, while her juices coated my length and dripped down to the floor. I watched her face twist between frustration and need, knowing she wanted to snap at me for blurting Sonnet's name but couldn't string the words together when my dick stretched her so perfectly.

"Yeah, that's it, take every inch of this dick," I snarled, slamming harder so my hips smacked loud against her ass. "Your pussy's soaking wet and clenching like it can't get enough."

"I need it—Gawd, I need your dick so fucking bad.” Her pussy clenched harder around me, pulling me deeper with every thrust. I didn't ease up, driving into her with vicious rhythm until sweat slicked our skin and the wet sounds of her pussy taking me filled the room. Her walls pulsed tighter, closer to the edge, but I kept pounding without mercy, drowning out everything else in the heat of her body yielding completely under mine.

Roman had been demanding an update since the night before. He’d called several times, sent three messages, and had one of his men contact me. The pressure told me he already knew Sonnet had disappeared.

So, a few days later, I arrived at the wine bar thirty minutes late on purpose. Soft music played behind the locked front doors. Shelves of expensive bottles covered the brick walls, and low lighting made the dining room look intimate.

A hostess instructed me toward the private room in the back.

I slowed when I heard voices through the partially closed door. Roman was speaking quietly, but the hallway was silent enough for every word to carry.

“She saw me shoot him. I know she did.”

I stopped before reaching the doorway.

One of Roman’s most trusted men, Cedric, answered. “You’re sure?”

“She was there. She ran from the loading area, and the cameras picked her up.”

Cedric lowered his voice. “Donovan forced your hand.”

“He’d been preparing to take my seat before I was dead. We can’t let this Sonnet woman talk. My wife finds out I killed her child, my daughter finds out I murdered her brother, my men learn the Bellamys had nothing to do with Donovan’s death—”

“The war falls apart.”

“Everything falls apart,” Roman corrected. “I used Donovan’s murder to unite the crew and move against the Bellamys. Men have already died behind it. If the truth comes out, every death after his becomes my fault.”

I stood in the darkness taking it all in. Sonnet hadn’t witnessed one murder. She held the truth that could destroy his family, cost him his organization, and expose the lie behind every body that followed.

“Vega will deliver her. Once he does, kill her.”

My hands remained relaxed at my sides, but violence moved through me with nowhere to go. Roman had not hired me to secure a witness. He had hired me to take an innocent woman to her execution.

The personalized file, the surveillance, and the urgency made sense now. Roman hadn’t wanted to get information from her about his son’s murder. He needed her erased before she told anyone that the grieving father on television was the man who had pulled the trigger.

I quietly stepped away from the door, waited a few seconds, then approached with enough noise to announce myself. Cedric opened it before I knocked. Roman sat at the center of the long table with a glass of wine in front of him. Cedric claimed the chair to his right. Neither man looked surprised to see me. That meant they hadn’t realized I had heard them.

“You’re late,” Roman said.

“I’m here.”

I took the chair across from him. “You’ve been calling like you’re my bitch or something.”

“Where is Sonnet? She hasn’t reported to work. She hasn’t returned to her condominium, and her phone has been inactive.”

I looked at him for several seconds. “How do you know all that?”

“I have people watching.”

“You hired me to do a job, then put your own men on her?”
