I leaned in and kissed his shoulder.
“But…”
“It’s okay, Spencer.” I said the name meaningfully. How could anyone prove it was anything other than an honest mistake?
“This isn’t—”
I cut him off with a kiss and his resistance melted away with the water washing over us. It was long and lingering. Holden explored my mouth and I welcomed every lash of his tongue over mine and every slight nip of his teeth. He shifted me back against the tiled wall, dipping down to kiss my nipples. When he lifted his face to mine, a hurricane raged in his green eyes. His hands scooped me off my feet and I curled around him.
“Tell me to stop,” he said gruffly as his cock nudged against me.
“Never stop,” I urged. My arms circled his neck, bringing him to me, but before our lips could meet, a bemused cough interrupted us.
“Am I interrupting?”
I peeked over Holden’s shoulder, doing my best to look natural when I said, “Good morning, Holden.”
The hands gripping my ass dug into my skin when I lied, but I ignored him.
“Holden?” Spencer repeated. Then he laughed. “You bastard.”
“What?” I blinked and then turned wide eyes on the man who held me now. “Wait…”
A muscle ticked in Holden’s jaw, the storm still brewing in his eyes, but he tossed a smirk over his shoulder. “You can’t blame a guy for trying.”
Spencer stepped into the shower and I went weak in Holden’s arms.
“Whoa, dirty girl.” He hoisted me up again, but this time he carefully angled his body so that less of us touched.
“I think we wore her out last night.” Spencer stepped closer and leaned in to kiss me.
I whimpered as his lips touched mine, savoring the sensations each provoked in me.
“Of course, she looks like she wants more,” he said, glancing at his brother.
“I might have worked her up a little,” he admitted.
Spencer nodded. “Just ask next time.”
There was a pause before Holden agreed.
“You got her?” Spencer asked him.
“Always.” But he was looking at me as he said it. His hold on me tightened and he turned me back under the water. I clung to him, but his strong body showed no sign of letting me fall. Spencer moved behind me. With my legs around Holden’s waist, I was completely exposed and Spencer slid his hand along my sex. His fingers pumped in and out and my body strained toward Holden wanting more contact—more of everything.
Spencer kissed my earlobe and whispered, “Do you want us again?”
I’d made up my mind to say no, but crushed between them, their cocks pressed against my slippery flesh, I changed my mind. Giving in one more time wouldn’t be a problem.
I could stop whenever I wanted to.
Chapter Twenty-Two
My room at Sparrow Court was smaller than I was accustomed to, likely because it was attached to Spencer’s quarters. But it was by no means cramped. A four-poster bed occupied its center, complete with upholstered drapes that could be drawn for privacy. On the far wall, a fire was lit in the Italian marble hearth. Two built-in bookcases sat empty on either side of the fireplace. Other than the furniture and linens, there were no personal items or decorations in the room.
I took it all in quietly while Caroline watched from the corner with hawkish focus.
“Your clothing has been hung in the closet,” she told me, pointing to a door. “At least as much as they could fit in it. The rest is in the guest room at the end of the hall.”
